Neural Cloud - Closed Beta First Impression & Gacha Rates

The Closed Beta for Neural Cloud is finally here! Being a Spin Off of the famous Girl Frontline, this game is a totally different direction from the first title. This game is a Chess Board Game, fully 3D Chibi Character with also Rogue Like Components. After a great catastrophe in the world, all the dolls' consciousness have moved to the big “Neural Cloud” system, uploading it in this virtual system, but something has gone wrong, and the System now is not recognizing the Dolls anymore, so it’s trying to eliminate all of them. With the help of you, The Commander, they are trying to rescue all the dolls in the Neural Cloud and moving to the Oasis, a secure Zone in the Cloud for living in peace, waiting to find a way to reconfigure the system and not being recognized as an enemy anymore.

What is Neural Cloud?

Neural Cloud is a Chess-Rogue Like RPG Game. You will command units in a board, but different from Chess games where usually characters can’t be controlled, in Neural Cloud you can unleash ultimate ability at the right moment, reposition your characters, use Commander powers to boost a character's energy recharge or teleport them etc. The Rogue Like component of the game is the random map you will have on every stage, and also random buff/debuff you can encounter during the adventure. The game is a Spin Off of the famous Girl Frontline, but despite being a Spin Off the work behind it is great. There’s fully voiced 3D Chibi Characters and Fully Animated Anime Style Ultimate ability. If you like Chess-Rogue Like RPG, Neural Cloud is the game for you!

 

Game Content

Main Story

 

In the “Main Story” of Neural Cloud, you’ll experience the Story of the game. There’s different kinds of stages. Some of them cost nothing and are only for story progression, while other stages are fighting stages with RogueLike Gameplay Progression. Main Story Stages reward you with different goodies, such as Quartz Sand, Experience Point for leveling up your Dolls, Gold etc.

 

Fragment Search

 

The “Fragment Search” is a Daily Content you can complete in Neural Cloud. 10 Attempt x day, you can choose the Doll you want to increase in rarity and collect Shards of this Doll. If you increase your affinity with the Doll, you can obtain more shards x day.

 

Resources Collection

 

The “Resources Collection” is the Farming zone in Neural Cloud. If you need Exp, Gold or Items to increase your Characters Rarity, this is the best place to get them. Two Times x day you can also receive double Rewards in the “Exp Collection” and “Potential Training” stages.

 

Dolls Development

 

The “Dolls” are the Playable Character in Neural Cloud. Dolls have Rarity (Basic 1 to 3 stars, up to 5 when maxed) and  Classes (Guard, Sniper, Warrior, Specialist and Medic). Every doll has 3 Skills (Passive, Auto and Ultimate). After a Doll reaches 3 Stars, they unlock Ultimate Skill.

Special Search

 

The “Special Search” is a promotional One-Time Banner in Neural Cloud. This banner features any of the base characters from 1 Star to 3 Stars, and you are guaranteed to receive at least one 3 Stars Character. After you pull on this banner with 1500 Quartz (Paid Currency) the banner disappears. Here’s the rates:

 

Characters

• 3 Stars Characters = 3.6%
• 2 Stars Characters = 18.6%
• 1 Stars Characters = 77.8%

 

Pity

• You are Guaranteed to receive at least one 3 Stars Character

 

Neural Kits

• Everytime you pull a character you already own, you will receive Neural Kits. 3 Stars Characters give you 300 Neural Kits, 2 Stars Characters 60 Kits, and 1 Star Characters 5 Kits

 

Designed Neural Acquisition

 

The “Designed Neural Acquisition” Banner is a One-Time Beginner Banner in Neural Cloud. This banner features 8 Different Characters and you can choose 1 of them and receive it. The single pull cost 980 “Quartz Sand” (Currency you can obtain in game)

Song of Sword and Autumn Frost

 

The “Song of Sword and Autumn Frost” is the first Rate Up Banner in Neural Cloud. This banner features characters from 1 Star to 3 Stars, with a rate up for the featured Character. 1 Pull in the banner costs 150 Quartz or Quartz Sands, and x10 Pull costs 1500. Once x Day you can pull with Quartz (Paid Currency) for a discounted single pull at the cost of 50 Quartz. Here’s the rates:

• 3 Stars Rate Up Characters = 1%
• 3 Stars Characters = 2.6%
• 2 Stars Characters = 18.6%
• 1 Stars Characters = 77.8%

 

Pity

• You are Guaranteed to receive at least one 2 Stars Character with x10 pull
• You are Guaranteed to receive one 3 stars Character when you reach 60 Pulls

 

Signal Redemption

•  Everytime you perform a pull into the Rate Up Banner, you will receive 1 ”Discrete Signals”. You can exchange 180 Discrete Signals for the Rate Up Character in the banner.

 

Neural Kits

• Everytime you pull a character you already own, you will receive Neural Kits. 3 Stars Characters give you 300 Neural Kits, 2 Stars Characters 60 Kits, and 1 Star Characters 5 Kits

 

Splendent Starry Night

 

The “Splendent Starry Night” is the second Rate Up Banner in Neural Cloud. This banner Rates and Pity, Signal Redemption and Neural Kits are the same as “Song of Sword and Autumn Frost”. The only difference is the Character in Rate Up and the pity that is not shared between the 2 Banners.

 

Advanced Searching

 

The “Advanced Searching” is the Normal Banner in Neural Cloud. This banner features all the old characters from 1 Star to 3 Stars, and new non-limited characters also will join this banner after some time. 1 Pull in the banner costs 150 Quartz or Quartz Sands, and x10 Pull costs 1500. Once x Day you can pull with Quartz (Paid Currency) for a discounted single pull at the cost of 50 Quartz. Here’s the rates:

• 3 Stars Rate Up Characters = 1%
• 3 Stars Characters = 2.6%
• 2 Stars Characters = 18.6%

The “Basic Search” is a common Banner in Neural Cloud. You can only pull in this banner with “Basic Search Command” that are obtainable in the Oasis - Search Terminal and you can obtain Items and Characters. 2 Stars and 3 Stars Character are only obtainable later on after upgrading the terminal.

• Unit Shards can be farmed daily

 

Cons

• There’s both Quartz (Paid Currency) and Quartz Sand (Free Currency) for pulling, with Quartz only Banners.
• The game can be a bit hard and not very auto friendly
• Need more optimization (Low FPS and Battery Drain)
