Nice idea, but fails in execution on every level. Navigation is a chore and not intuitive at all, making it very difficult to follow threads. Notifications take forever to show up and loading timeline and media is way too slow. The layouts and fonts are confusing as well. The simplest tasks require far more effort than the official app. I wish I could get a refund, but Google refund system is broken right now.
good aesthetics but with a pretty major flaw. everytine i go to the discover section the app informs me that it cannot get my location even though i have granted it location access. have tried to set my location manually within the app but still get the same message. have tried uninstalling/reinstalling but same issue. shame as everything else about the app is great.
At first I was annoyed but how difficult the app makes doing certain things, like viewing reply chains. Then I realized that the app was actually doing me a great service by making it difficult to view replies because Twitter replies are useless time wasters. The app was trying to tell me that the only thing Twitter is good for is seeing posts from the people you follow- and you should avoid ads, algorithms, and engagement. Perfect app, no notes
