Took me 3 days and alot of downloading before finally finding an app to get rid of my duplicate photos. It would always say 0 duplicates when I could plainly see they were there and it was too time consuming to go back and forth to individually delete them. Thanks to this app it was done in 1,2,3! All you do is scroll through the list given to verify that it's a duplicate hold the pic and you can delete multiple at a time. Just highlight the dot in the corner after holding the picture Thank you!
So far I've spent 10 minutes looking at a stupid "Please wait..." screen with animation to show only that the app isn't frozen, with no info about what it's doing, how many images or what directories it's scanning, progress bar or estimated time remaining, etc. Horrible UI. Fail. OK, now it's finally finished scanning, and it's showing me EVERY IMAGE ON MY DEVICE (probably over 20000), the vast majority are in a "group" of one (i.e., no duplicates). If I have to scroll through all of my photos, this app is pointless. Why is there no option to hide the images without duplicates? How about scanning one directory at a time, or excluding directories? Why is there no info other than file name shown for duplicate images (path, pixel size, byte size, file creation or modified date, photo taken date, etc.) so I can make an informed choice about whether to delete and if so, which version? This app looks like a programming exercise by a mediocre student who didn't even have it evaluated in real-world usage situations by classmates. Fail. Fail. FAIL!
Zero stars weren't an option, so I went with one. Numerous images listed as duplicate of each other with no similarity whatsoever. Several identical images weren't tagged as duplicates. I'm dumping this app after rating it here.
