It's definitely convenient but it's extremely clitchy. Calls are dropped almost 90 percent of the time. Texts are received as late as two days sometimes or never received. Sent texts periodically never make it to the person whom they were sent to. Lately it seems the app wants to control itself and operate its own agenda. All negatives aside though, this app is significantly better than others, especially Text Now.
I like the fact that you can have multiple numbers from the same account with different area codes and also maintain conversation history and call log essentially for each number in the same space but still as separate numbers. I hate having to switch between this app and that app to use multiple numbers for individual purposes, it gets messy, confusing, frustrating and eventually mistakes are made. But not here. The ads at the bottom even after going premium are annoying but manageable.
I use this app when my cell network is not available, but I have access to WiFi. It is a dependable way to text & make occasional phone calls. It is FREE for the basic app which of course does have plenty of annoying ads; however I am willing to deal with that. You do get to pick your own area code & then choose your phone number from a list of several choices.
