Eden: The Tale of the Forest Guardian is a 3D platformer set in a fantasy forest in a parallel universe. The player takes on the role of the last Guardian, who has to protect the forest from the invasion of humans and subsequently robots, while revealing details about his past. The forest itself has a powerful magic coursing through its roots and that magic is sacred for the druids and other creatures of the forest. Later on it would be revealed that humans once lived in this forest in balance with nature, but decided to move away to find new places to inhabit. Eventually they built cities and made a lot of technological advances, however at some point they've used up all the resources and were trying to survive. That's when they discovered Eden and decided to use its resources for their own benefit, starting a war against nature.
