There is no very basic and quite standard Android option to select part of the post's content in the viewer for copying-sharing-translating. All three available themes for the interface are too low on the contrast because of prevailing dark shades of gray in the color schemes either for the font, or for the background, or even for both. There is no option to disable auto download media. There are very little to none customisation options in general.
I've always used this for reddit and it is still far superior to the native reddit app. It has however become very slow during the past year. Opening posts can take minutes and the strangest thing is, if I open a post, press more options while it is loading, and select open in browser it will instantly load in the browser. When I go back it has also loaded in the app. I've cleared cache, deleted data, reinstalled. Nothing has worked and it has been like this for a year now.
While this is probably one of the best apps out there for Reddit, the UI is not geared towards phone users unless your thumb is a mile long and can reach the top of your phone to hit commonly used buttons and other controls. The nonsensical UI is the reason for my lower score. They also seem to have recurring issues displaying videos too although I think they might find finally have figured it out. Time will tell him that one. Make the app phone friendly and I'll raise my score.
