Everything You Need to Know Before Going in MIR4

2022-10-12

MIR4 is a new triple-A MMORPG that features a vast new world to explore and enemies to fight. MIR4, with its amazing storyline and in-game mechanics, brings players a game that seems very promising. Due to the complex nature of the game and the high skill ceiling that the game offers, getting a little help early in the game can boost your stats by a lot.

So, to help new players to achieve that goal, we have written a comprehensive guide for beginners to help them through their journey. Start this journey with MIR4 on PC and here is everything to know before diving into the game.

Choosing Your Class:

mir4 choosing your clas

MIR 4 offers the player to choose from five different classes: Warrior, Magician, Swordsman, Samurai and Archer. [ZS2] Each of these classes has different kinds of playstyle and abilities. Each new player needs to find the class that is most suitable for them and choose it. In the game's current state, a few classes provide players with an easier Gameplay experience in the early stages, but the late game story is entirely different. If you are a player that is new to the MMORPG, the warrior is a pick that you should go for as the higher attack and defense stats make him sturdy.

Customizing Your Character:

Now that you have finally selected one of the classes mentioned earlier, your next step is to customize your character. These customizations are entirely for cosmetic purposes and will have zero effect on your gameplay. But they will, however, help you feel in sync with your game character. The game will allow the player to have different hairstyles and facial features. It will also allow them to have a certain type of clothing that the player wants and even dye their color. After you are done customizing your character, zoom out and take a look as it will show you how other players perceive you in-game.

Deleting Your Character:

If somehow you end up selecting a character that doesn't synergize with you, you don't need to worry. The game allows the user to delete a character, and you can do it by going in the character select option. When the player deletes a character, a seventy-two Hour grace period counter will start. In which the players can still cancel the character deletion process. If the player wants to reuse the character name, they can do it by creating a new character as soon as possible as there is a high chance of it being taken by another player due to the large player base.

Character Status Information:

mir4 character status information

You can check character status information by touching the upper left corner of the main screen. From there, you can check the infamy level and propensity status. The lower the propensity score will be in-game, the higher the penalty for acquiring hunting experience, and additional penalties may occur when the character dies. Below is the propensity classification character chart to help you know where you stand right now.

Propensity:

Propensity: Goodness

Acquire 100% experience (at least 5,000 propensity points)

Propensity: Usually

Acquire 100% EXP (Propensity Point -499 ~ 4,999)

Propensity: Ruffianism

Acquire only 70% of experience (propensity score -3,499 ~ -500)

Propensity: Villainy

Acquire only 50% of experience (propensity score -9,999 ~ -3,500)

Propensity: Lawlessness

Obtain only 30% of experience (propensity score -10,000 or less)

The propensity score goes down when a player kills other characters in-game and has a normal temperament or higher. A player can recover propensity points: If his propensity points have fallen below 5,000 by killing monsters for propensity points. However, recovery is possible only when the level difference between the character and the monster to be defeated is 5 Level or less.

If the level difference between the MIR 4 character and the monster exceeds five levels, the propensity score cannot be recovered. (Ex. 70 Lv character, upon killing a level 65 monster: recoverable / upon killing a level 64 monster: no change in propensity score)

Death Penalty:

If you die in a place other than the safe zone, the death penalty will apply depending on the area you die in. So, it's very important to keep this in mind before going in to fight a battle. Below is a list of all the death penalties a player can get in MIR4.

Types of death penalty:

Inner Box: Decrease stats for a certain period of time.

Experience: Reduced experience points.

Lost article: Probability of loss of possessions and items according to the propensity.

PK Mode:

mir 4 pk mode

Mir 4 has an in-game Player kill mode that allows the player to fight other players on the server. You can set this PK model by going into the in-game settings and choosing one of the four options. These four options are listed below.

PK Mode Types:

Peace: Do not attack other users.

Good and Evil: Other than party/moon faction/alliance clan/friend.

Hostility: All users except Party/Clan/Alliance/Friend.

Slaughter: All users except party.

However, it's important to keep in mind War Factions and wanted targets can attack regardless of mode. When participating in a non-heavenly siege battle, it changes to a war state, and only users of the opposing faction can attack.

Basic Attack and Skill Use:

The MIR4 combat System is very hard to learn, but it's exceptionally hard to master when it comes to it. Each character will have a basic attack and some type of special skills to go along with them. The attack icon in the lower right corner to attack a nearby target. (On PC, press the F key to attack.) If you touch the skill you want to use, the skill is used, and the reuse time for each skill is displayed after use.

If the skill registered in the skill slot is moved up or down while touching, the skill set to 'Manual' is changed to 'Auto', and the skill set to 'Auto' is changed to 'Manual'. It's possible. Skills can be registered or cancelled through skill placement in the skill menu. To have a better gameplay experience, a player can download LDPlayer and set macros and customized key binds to have a better combat experience.

Skill Application:

Skill application is a very important aspect of any MMORPG and MIR is no different. These skills allow users to create different combos, which can inflict a lot of damage by mixing different buffs. By knowing what kind of skills players have on their character, they can find ways to get out of a sticky situation without taking a ton of damage.

Players can deal with Additional damage through skill linkage. Some skills can subdue your opponent. You can apply a debuff to the opponent through brilliance points and chills. After that, you use a skill that can give each debuff effect a hit and damage increase effect. This will increase your inflicted additional damage on the target.

Players can also use a skill that has a knockdown effect; the target will fall. After which, you can either attack or avoid battles against a fallen target without interfering with skill linkages. The movement speed reduction skill slows the target's movement, which you can take advantage of during combat. By narrowing or widening the gap against slow-moving targets, a player can have more time to think about his current situation.

Battle Setting:

mir 4 batlle settings

In MIR 4, You can make quick settings related to battle, such as auto-combat range, which allows your character to deal damage when enemies are in a certain area around you. You can set these battle settings by following the steps below.

  • Touch the gear icon to activate the setting window.
  • You can set the battle range, party leader-centered battle, automatic return, etc.
  • The combat range can be specified not to go out of range based on the character.
  • If you set the party center battle, the battle will proceed near the party hall.
  • If you set auto return when resurrected, when the character dies, you can automatically return to the point of death and proceed with the battle.
  • If you set auto lock-on when attacking, the target will not change to another target while attacking the target.
  • If you set the counterattack option up, it will automatically counterattack if you are hit by the target.
  • If the skill frequency is set to Normal, the skill is used at regular intervals.

Completing In-Game Quests:

There are different types of in-game quests, and all of the quests have different purposes in-game. However, all of these quests are very important in levelling up your character and getting high-level gear.

Main quests:

In MIR4, you can proceed with the main quest by touching the blue area on the right. Quests that have already been completed cannot be resumed. The main Quests offer the highest amount of XP in-game, so they are very good at levelling up your character.

Missions:

Missions are quests that can be performed in addition to the main quest, and you can acquire experience points and various items from it depending on the difficulty of the mission. You can move to the mission window by touching the mission tab in the menu. It consists of Field/Elite/Labyrinth/Feelings, and you can accept and proceed with the mission for each area. Depending on the mission, you can do them from 1 to 3 times.

It is recommended to create a party and proceed with the somewhat difficult party recommended mission. You can accept up to 10 missions at a time, including quests. The accepted mission can be executed automatically by specifying the order and number of repetitions. Mining, gathering, fortune-telling, and missions cannot be performed automatically.

Requests:

Request quests are hard to come by as there are some prerequisites that are needed to be completed in order for them to get activated if the prerequisites are complete in the main quest, you just need to follow some clues which will lead you to a request quest.

Giyeon:

Giyeon is a unique chain quest that is fun to solve the interesting events hidden in the main story step by step. You can move to the Giyeon window by touching the Giyeon tab in the menu. Here you can check the current status of the project in progress and the project that has been completed. Additional rewards can be obtained when 100% progress is achieved.

Target Settings:

mir 4 target settings

In MIR 4, players can select a target on which they want to inflict damage. The target setting makes the MIR4 combat system easier for the newer players to the game. Below are the steps to set up target settings in the game.

  • Click the icon to find a target through the target list.
  • If you touch the target you want from the list, it will attack automatically.
  • Touch the icon to set the target.
  • If you press X, the target window disappears.

Players can use the tapping method to Change the surrounding target and change the way it holds the target. Tapping methods, once mastered, can help the player tremendously during encounters.

Auto Battle:

If you touch Auto Battle, it automatically battles enemies around you and automatically uses the potions registered in the skill auto cast settings and quick slots. By setting, auto-battle players can leave the game AFK and even grind for XP, loot and other materials. Auto Battle in the early game is extremely useful but don't make a habit of using it as it can put great strain on a player's resources. Apart from that, the more you will advance in-game, the higher it will be for Auto-Battle to keep up with enemies.

Combat Application of Target Setting:

Below is a list of all the game applications of target setting, which can help you be better at MIR 4.

  • For starters, it is important to link skills according to each situation to inflict damage or suppress them.
  • After the weakening skill, you must use a linkage that can inflict additional damage. (ex. Magician: Inflicts a strong blow and increased damage to the chilled target using the ice-cold field)
  • If necessary, it is recommended to release manual skills and manually use skills that can be linked.
  • In the case of automatic battle, it is recommended to place only the skills that the character wants to use automatically in the quick slot to proceed with the battle.
  • It is recommended to reduce damage by using powerful skills such as special moves during battles with opponents or by using slam and damage increase skills after weakening to reduce damage.

Spirits:

mir4 spirits

In MIR 4, players can access their spirits by touching the Spirit tab in the menu. Here players can check the name and combat power of the selected spirit in the upper left corner of the screen. Each spirit will have different skills, and players can check the skills of each spirit on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, players can modify your deck by appearing and releasing spirits. When a certain level is achieved, the number of spirits that can be played simultaneously increases, and up to 5 spirits can be displayed.

Players can use up to 3 Spirit Decks, and they can change decks at the top of the screen. Each player can summon a spirit by using 1 Spirit Stone. The same spirit stone as the summoned spirit can be used by synthesizing it or registering it in the treasure chest. To do so, players can move to Craft Workshop > Synthesis and there, they can choose the Spirit Synthesis button at the bottom right. Here you can sort the list of spirits and check it tier wise.

Treasure:

In the game, players can check the treasures by touching the Treasure tab in the upper right corner in the Spirit window. They can select a treasure and give it to a spirit or set a lock. Treasures awarded once cannot be retrieved, and when other treasures are awarded in the same place, the previously awarded treasures will be destroyed.

The number of treasures that can be awarded varies depending on the spirit level. Players can touch the treasure awarded to the spirit to check the treasure's stats. Unused treasures can be synthesized by touching the Treasure Synthesis button at the bottom right, going through the Crafting Workshop - Synthesis, or registered in the treasure chest.

Transcendence:

The Spirit Transcendence is only allowed when you have the same Spirit Stone as the summoned Legendary Spirit. For example, when you have more than one 'Resurrection Master Gumyorang' spirit stone while summoning the 'Resurrection Master Gumyorang' spirit, you can transcend the spirits. When you don't have the 'Gumyorang' Spirit Stone - Elemental Transcendence is impossible.

Transcending a Spirit:

If you have more than one Legendary Spirit with the same Spirit Stone, a sky-blue arrow icon will be displayed on the Spirit tab. Press the Spirit Transcendence button to move to the Spirit Transcendence screen. Here you can check the stat information of the Legendary Spirit that rises to Transcendence. After that, you can check the materials required for Transcendence. (Same Spirit Stone + Legendary Treasure Fragment as the Transcendence Target).

Transcendence can be performed when the material conditions required for Transcendence are met. Legendary spirits that have completed Transcendence increase the number of spirit slots that can be equipped.

Enchanting:

Players can move to the Enhancement window by touching the Forge - Enhancement tab in the menu or by touching the Enhancement tab at the top left of the options appraisal window. Here they can select weapons, armor, and accessories to enhance them. For strengthening, you need an enhancement stone of the same grade as the equipment to be strengthened.

When Strengthening is successful using a mysterious Enhancement Stone, the Enhancement level increases randomly. Touch the Crafting button to go to the Crafting Workshop. Here you can Auto-enhance that allows users to strengthen multiple high-grade items up to a set level collectively.

When setting auto-reinforcement, if you enter a number greater than 6, the equipment may be destroyed because it is a dangerous section. Up to 5 reinforcement is the safe section auto-reinforcement button. It is only exposed when the equipment to be strengthened and the necessary goods are fully equipped. Reinforcement has a safety reinforcement section and a risk reinforcement section. Target equipment is destroyed if reinforcement fails in the danger reinforcement section.

Option Sentiment:

You can move to the options appraisal window by touching the options appraisal tab in the menu or by touching the options appraisal tab at the top left of the enhancement window. Here players can use the appraisal to appraise the options of weapons, armor, and accessories. After doing that, you can check the options applied to the item to be evaluated by touching the magnifying glass icon.

Touch the appraisal information button to check the stats that can be acquired through optional appraisal. You can evaluate options by touching the options appraisal button. When evaluating options, you can compare the currently applied stats with those that will change after application.

The stats are randomly selected during option evaluation, and if not applied after option evaluation, the stats will not change. For equipment to which optional appraisal is not applied, the last determined option will apply if you close the window without selecting the appraised option after option appraisal. Option sentiment is a very hard concept to wrap around the head for new players but once mastered. It's worth it.

Transcending Gear:

You can Transcend gear by touching the Forge - Transcendence tab in the menu or by touching the Transcendence tab at the top left of the Enhancement window. Here you can transcend legendary-grade mana stones and spiritual treasures. You can try to transcend them using the same legendary-grade mana stones or spirit treasures and black iron as materials.

You can check the success probability for each Transcendence. In case of failure, all legendary mana stones or spirit treasures used as reinforcement targets and materials will be destroyed, and each fragment can be obtained. You can craft them into Legendary Mana stones or Spirit Treasures by collecting the same 30 pieces of Legendary Mana stones or Spirit Treasures. In MIR 4, you check the stats that increase with Transcendence, and you can achieve up to 5 levels of Transcendence.

Phase Shift:

MIR4 PHASE SHIFT

Phase Shift is content that can be freely converted into five occupations, sharing all growth points and bags except for Weapons, Armor, and Skills of the character being developed. You can enter it through the skill-phase shift in the menu.

These terms can be very confusing so it's always a good practice to have them in the back of your mind to avoid any problems.

Phase change is possible only after checking and meeting the conditions necessary for phase change.

A 30-minute wait time applies after phase transition. Each player can check the skill information of the class that is changed when the phase is changed in advance.
