Contingency Contract #11 Main Stage and Enemies

Map

The permanent map for Contingency Contracts #11 - Fake Waves is based on the limited time The Great Chief Returns event, meaning it will be filled with enemies that are based on elements of water. The map will allow players to place special “Floaties” items onto water titles on the map in order to deploy operators on them, these floaties will last indefinitely as long as you don’t retreat them and players will only be able to have a limited amount of these floaties items.

Dangerous enemies will tread the water in order to engage in combat with your operators and go to the blue box, with many of them requiring players to use the floaties in order to deploy operators on them and block the enemies so players should learn to use the Floaties effectively. If the enemies are under water, they will take damage overtime.

In addition, the stage’s environment is counted as Water field, meaning special operators with extra effects on water fields will have their effect active during the map. The occasional hide tides will also make it impossible to deploy operators, so players should place down their essential operators before these hide tides periods.

Enemies

Here are some important and powerful enemies from this special map that players will need to take care of in order to complete the map

- Dockworkers: Dockworkers are melee centric enemies that are extremely tanky and are annoying to deal with as their attacks will stun any operators in their path after 2-3 hits, making them unable to be blocked by operators for a good period. However, when under water, Dockworkers will have their HP reduced by 1000 HP every second, so as long as players keep them under the water, they are easy to deal with.

- Full Metal Surfing Instructor: The Surfing Instructors are basically the upgraded version of the Dockworkers with a more powerful ability to reduce the damage they take from operators by half if they are not blocked by operators. In addition they are unaffected by the tide damage, so the best option players have is to block them in place and deal enough Arts damage to burst them down.

- Fully-Enclosed Beach Buggy: A very unusual type of enemy in that it is not an actual enemy but a vehicle to transport other more threatening enemies. This thing can only be blocked with operators with 3 block count or more and will load itself up with up to 3 enemies inside and transport them into the exit. Therefore, players need to immediately destroy this car before it has the chance to move, otherwise it will be extremely annoying to deal with it and the 3 enemies it carries all at once.

Some Operators Recommendations

- Unlike other maps and operations, this time the map is heavily dependent on stalling the enemies in the water or bursting them down immediately once they have come into contact with the operators. Therefore, the CN community who have already experienced this event have come up with a good strategy that utilizes a variety of operators that can either stall or slow down the enemies enough that they will take damage from the tide and die before reaching the exit.

Some of the most recommended operators for higher clears are:

- Angelina: Angelina’s 3rd and 2nd skill are an extremely powerful tool of crowd controlling in this CC as they not only slow down multiple enemies at once but also dealing a moderate amounts of arts damage to up to 4 enemies at once, allowing her to constantly dealing damage while slowing the enemies to a crawl while her skill is active.

- Gnosis: serves the same function as Angelina but with an extra benefit of inflicting the special Frozen debuffs on enemies and reducing their Arts resistance to help other operators deal good damage to the enemies. Gnosis’ skill have lower uptime and duration than Angelina’s but he serves more purpose in stalling and damaging the enemies.

- Suzuran: The choice and is one of the best operators for stalling enemies in Arknights. Her powerful 3rd skill allows her to completely stop all enemies in their track as soon as they enter her zone, allowing her to not only partially heal other allies in the zone but also reduces all enemies movement speed by up to 90% with her Skill 3.

Special Rate UP Banner - Should You Roll

In preparation for CC#11 and other events to follow, Arknights is having a special standard banner rate up, featuring the 2 6* Operators - the 6* Caster Passenger and the 6* Medic Kal’sit

Kal’sit

Doctor Kal’sit is a 6* Medic that can serve as both a medic healer and a DPS with her own summon - Monst3r. Monst3r is Kal’sit summoning and can block 3 enemies, dealing massive amounts of both physical and true damage to enemies it blocks, depending on the skill equipped by Kal’sit.

Kal’sit’s damage is one of the game's few True damage sources thanks to her Monst3r’s DPS. In addition, Kal’sit is an extremely powerful character with the ability to heal allies and block enemies, a 2 in one ally.

Passenger

Passenger is a 6* Chain Caster classed Operator with the ability to deal massive amounts of burst damage against enemies in his path over a wide area.

As a Chain Caster Class Operator, Passenger’s have a high cost in exchange for the ability for his attack to bounce between up to 4 enemies at once, dealing damage to them and slowing their attack speed and movement speed.

Passenger’s true power and utility lies in his 3rd skill, with the ability to call massive thunder strikes against enemies in a large diamond area that can cover almost half of the maps in the game. This special lightning will strike 10 times against many enemies and bounce between enemies within the zone, dealing constant damage and roasting the enemies to death with ease.

With his new Module boosting his power and the special Module upgrade coming that allows him to gain 2 SP for every normal attack dealt, Passenger is one of the best Arts damage dealers and enemy waves clearer in the entire game.

Should You Pull

Not really, no. While both operators are extremely good and are beneficial to have, there are other banners that will make it easier to get these two operators in the future, so players should save up for future operators instead.
