Edit: The support responded to me a day after posting, and assisted me in validating the app. The app's user experience should be improved to prevent this confusion from happening. However, it appears the connection to establish a call through the app is very unstable and I was asked to switch from WiFi to 4G to allow the call to be connected.
Disappointing. I paid $18.99 for a subscription to a U.S. social media phone number that is advertised as allowing incoming and outgoing SMS messages. I have since tried to send and receive SMS test messages to another U.S. phone number, and none of the test messages are working. The SMS feature is completely defective. I opened a support ticket and they confirmed it is a known issue and blamed the provider the use. They told me they have no idea when it will be fixed. I feel deceived.
Absolute trash. So the flow is you create and account and then buy a number. Then you verify your real number, at which point the purchases number disappears. I reset the app twice, and upon reset the purchases number appears, only to disappear when the app requests verification of my real number again. I am not sure if this is a scam or a terrible app. Either way the effect is the same, a complete waste of money.
