My vocabulary includes a great many curse words but not nearly enough to describe how bad and annoying this app is. I never did figure out how to use it to download images from the drone. Never even could get it to connect. But regardless, every other button I pressed took me to a page nagging me to upgrade. This is a horrible piece of trash.
Despite having an version dated March 18th 2024, this app is not the most up-to-date version. When installed the drone would not connect. I uninstalled this app from the Play store, and downloaded the APK file from the DJI website. That was the most recent version and everything worked flawlessly once it was installed directly from the DJI website.
Sadly this app is useless. I have paid a liftime fee of £37 to unlock all its features and still my DJI mini, which is rarely used, refuses to link with the controller or allow access to the video feed. To add insult to injury, I have written to DJI and they have not replied. And, the laptop software seems unable to do what it should, and all in all a complete waste of time. This is sad, as when working properly, the Mini is a good, albeit expensive, drone. Not genuine. Buyer beware.
