Princess Connect Re: Dive Best Reroll Guide & Reroll Tier List | Who To Pick

2021-01-25

Princess Connect! Re: Dive has finally been released worldwide for everyone to enjoy. It's an RPG based on the popular anime with the same name. It is a collaboration between Crunchyroll, Cygames, and funplex. The plot revolves around the land of Astraea and how you can pull and summon multiple heroines to fight for you in epic battles. The game features intricate graphics alongside visuals of extremely high fidelity that adds a sense of realism to the game like no other.

Princess Connect Re: Dive How to Reroll The Best Characters and Tier List For 2021

Rerolling in this game is quite different from other Gacha games, with many options to choose from. Here's how we recommend you should go about re-rolling Princess Connect! Re: Dive.

Re-Roll Till The First Summon:

There are two ways you can reroll in the game. The first method is quite simple but takes a lot of time. Firstly, you need to start downloading the entire game from the APK file and then unlinking it instantly from any account you have, including the Google Play Store.

After you have done so, the game asks you to download a particular resource pack. You have the option to select either the Standard one or the Low-Quality one. For the sake of rerolling, we recommend that you go for the low-quality resource pack as it consumes fewer data, and you will need to keep clearing this data over and over again until you get your desired summon.

Princess Connect Re: Dive How to Reroll The Best Characters and Tier List For 2021

After you select the resource pack, you need to wait till everything has been properly downloaded. After doing so, you need to open the Tutorial, skip it (or watch if you want to for the first time), and then roll. You can then choose if you want the summon or not.

If you do not like the particular summon, you need to delete the data completely and then re-download it repeatedly. While this method is time-consuming, it does guarantee a lot of unique rolls as you progress further through rerolling.

The Advanced Reroll:

If you are not satisfied with just getting one reroll per account, you can try this method and get access to a lot more chances per account at the cost of a few more minutes of going through some stages.

After completing the Tutorial and getting your first summon, skip it and move forward with the stages. The Tutorial does not end there, and you have to complete it till you are off the quest completely and can now access the main menu. After doing so, you need to either register a Crunchyroll account or just link it to the one you already have.

As soon as you link Princess Connect! to your Crunchyroll account, you instantly get 2000 diamonds. You can use that for another ten pools. If you do not like them, unlink your Crunchyroll account and start over again by deleting your data.

Princess Connect Re: Dive How to Reroll The Best Characters and Tier List For 2021

Do note that if you go for this method, you will need to be downloading an additional 2 gigabytes of data after you skip through the Tutorial. If you do not like your pull, you will need to delete your game data. So, you will end up downloading 2 gigabytes on top of the 900 MB you are already downloading. Therefore, it might take up a lot of time.

In the end, it is completely your decision as to what procedure of rerolling you like better.

The Ultimate Tier List:

We are going to talk about characters that we feel are must-haves when it comes to you rerolling. If you get any of these characters, you should not need to reroll again.

Princess Connect Re: Dive How to Reroll The Best Characters and Tier List For 2021

  • Miyako (Pudding) – Extremely powerful premier physical tank that can deal a ton of damage while also sustaining many hits.

  • Rima (Lima) – Great PvP unit can clump enemies together in the arena due to AoE damage and disables.

  • Kuuka (Kuka) – Like Pudding but more of a magic tank instead of a DPS one.

  • Kaori – Perhaps the highest damage output for clan battles. Not so powerful in the story mode but an absolute beast in any sort of clan battles.

  • Makoto – Provides you with an extra 30-40% damage in Clan Battles, which is of pivotal importance.

  • Tamaki – Strong in the arena and has many variations you can run with her, including those for clan battles.

  • Djeeta – Useful in clan battles and is generally very balanced as she can deal well with many different obstacles.

We’re going to be mentioning their primary role and tier of every hero found in this tier list alongside what game mode they are best suited for. Here’s a classification of all the Tier Lists:

  • SSS: The best characters in the game. They are usually everchanging by every patch but they cannot be beaten in their particular role.

  • SS: Amazing picks. These trump over most other characters and have only a few slight differences between SSS characters.

  • S: This point is where characters get extremely powerful. Having any S class character means that you have a wonderful draft.

  • A: Excellent characters in most cases. However, they do fall behind in certain scenarios.

  • B: Above-average characters. They usually should be replaced as soon as possible.

  • C: Below-average characters. You should not be using them in any case.

Role Classification:

The entire tier list will be divided into 7 distinct roles with each of them having different attributes that separate them from each other. Here’s a quick overview of all the roles present in the game.

  • Physical Attacker: The Physical Attacker is the most commonly found role in Princess Connect. These characters usually do not rely on their spells but rather their innate tankiness and ATK stat to deal a high amount of damage. You can expect these characters to be most commonly found in most drafts to their abundance and the fact they are extremely versatile in nature.

  • Magic Attacker: The Magic Attacker can be considered as the polar opposite of the Physical Attacker. These characters are usually ranged and deal somewhat higher amounts of damage than their physical counterparts. They are countered by Magic Resistance and can sometimes be extremely annoying to deal against. Good magic attacking character also has good passives up their sleeve that make them more lucrative.

  • Tanker: As the name suggests, the Tanker will always have the highest HP and DEF stats in the game. They can soak up the most damage and have innate abilities that help them absorb even more damage. Some Tanks are better at absorbing certain types of damage as compared to others. However, all of them do not deal a lot of damage and can not be used as reliable DPS characters under normal circumstances.

  • Supporter / Buffer: The Supporter / Buffer is an extremely important part of your team that can make or break your entire composition. Having a strong Supporter can make all the difference between winning or losing a fight due to the extra amount of strength they can provide to the entire team or particular member of it. However, Supporters have negligible health and also do not deal a lot of damage.

  • Debuffer: The debuffer can make life a living hell for your enemy. They are extremely powerful at casting abilities that can wreak havoc on the enemy lineup. They usually counter particular drafts especially those who rely too much on a particular stat like a physical or magical attack. Having a strong Debuffer provides you with an arsenal of tools and spells at your proposal that you can take advantage of to get rid of the enemy.

  • Healer: Not to be confused with the Supporter, while a lot of characters can heal others, the Healer is known is for their sheer amount of healing they can dish out in a short amount of time. They are extremely fragile and do not have a lot in their arsenal other than their healing capabilities.

Looking at all the characters mentioned above, it can clearly be seen that generally, SSS tier characters are worthwhile for all game modes. However, as you dabble down to lower tiers, there’s a high chance that you will end up finding a variety of characters that might be suitable for particular game modes.

When re-rolling make sure to identify what game mode you want to play the most and base your character choices off of that list. If you do end up getting SSS characters, you will be using them in almost all game modes just because of their extremely powerful kit.

How Long Should I Reroll For?

Unlike other gacha games, Princess Connect has buffed up some characters much more than the others due to its new release. The chances are that if you get any other characters other than the ones mentioned above, you will not form a strong team.

In most cases, we recommend that you download the extra 2 GBs and go for the extra ten pull, so you have a better chance. If you do not wish to do so, keep repeating the reroll until you at least get Miyako or Kuuka as both of them are extremely powerful tanks. They are vital to your success in the long run as you will not dish out reliable DPS if they are not present in your team. Try to aim for Kaori if you want to stand out in clan battles.

Conclusion:

Princess Connect! Re: Dive has cemented itself as an extremely fun Gacha game that has paved its way through the storm by providing tons of replay value and a large number of characters for you to choose from. Right now, only a few characters are worth picking as they can decimate others due to their strong stats and items.

As a general note, try to spend as much time as you can re-rolling till you get the best starter pulls, as it can make your game much easier for a long time due to the inherent advantage they have over any other character of their type.
