Epic Seven Early December Update Patch Guide

With the ongoing Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration and the recent end of the 4th story chapter of the Main Story, Epic Seven is implementing brand new updates and new contents for its players this Early December, with some brand new game updates, a brand new Side Story with immense profits and rewards, buff events and the reveal of the 3rd aespa collaboration Character - aespa - GISELLE.

 

In this guide, we will go over the game updates for this Early December Epic Seven Update Patch, showing players the update contents and how players can best obtain all of the brand new rewards made available for them through the new update contents and campaign. Epic Seven Early December Update Contents

With the early December Update, Epic Seven brings to its players several Quality of Life changes in addition to changes to some of its gameplay modes and Value Packs.

Arena Triumph Season Ending

From 11th of December, 2022, the Triumph Season of the Arena Mode will come to an end and Arena will enter a rest period for all players. During the rest period, players will still be able to participate in fights in the Arena mode against other players, however, they will not be able to obtain the Triumph Season Exclusive medallions to exchange for the Arena Triumph Season exclusive equipment anymore.

In addition, players who have participated in the Triumph Arena Season who still have their currencies accumulated throughout the season should spend their currencies right at this moment as once the rest period ends and the new season begins, these currencies will expire and won’t carry over to the new season of Arena.

Some important items players should prioritize spending their currencies on are the Arena Triumph Attack Set Equipment ( Weapon, Helmet, Armor, Necklace, Ring ,and Boots), the special Character upgrading Slate and the Arena Triumph Season Exclusive Title and Frame.

2nd Rank Up Pack Renewal

With the Update, The Rank UP 2 Pack will no longer be available for players to purchase after the Patch, instead, it will be replaced with a BRAND NEW Rank UP 2 Pack with upgraded rewards and better value and is available for all players to claim the rewards from the pack.

There will be 2 tiers to the pack, the free tier and the paid tier. Upon reaching a certain level, all players will be able to claim the free tier rewards from the Rank Up 2 Pack, which includes rewards such as ruin chests, Normal Catalyst Chests, Leifs and other valuable currencies.

 

Players can also choose to buy the paid tier of the pack and upgrade the rewards they will get, up to 2500 skystones, 65 Covenant Bookmarks (= 13 pulls) and 5 Galaxy Bookmarks.

Epic Seven Early December Update Patch Events and Campaigns

Together with the quality of life upgrades and other gameplay system changes, the Early December Update patch also brings several new Events and Campaigns into Epic Seven for players to participate in and obtain the rewards from these events.

Special Album Side Story - Fabulous Festival of Friendship

Available for 2 weeks after the update patch, a special new type of side story event is available for all players to complete and gain various types of rewards like Golden Transmit Stones, Bookmarks and a special Event Exclusive Equipment Necklace piece.

To complete the side story, players will have to click the puzzle pieces and finish certain missions to fill in the puzzle piece slot, unlocking the puzzle spot and obtaining the reward hidden behind the puzzle spot when they succeed in finishing the mission given. 

 

These missions range from completing certain amounts of battles, obtaining certain amounts of materials or spending energy to crafting and obtaining a certain amount of equipment and strengthening the team. These missions will be given at random behind each puzzle piece and players have up to 10 free times per mission to reset the mission’s requirement, once they have surpassed the free time given, they will have to spend Gold if they want to reset the missions again.

Along the way, players will also obtain special story nodes and battles to flesh out the story of the Side Story Event, giving glimpses and reward players with loot once they have read the story. Once the puzzle is fully unlocked and completed, players will also be rewarded with an event exclusive illustration to display in game and to revisit on your main screen as a wallpaper.

Epic Seven x aespa Friendship Event

During the Epic Seven x aespa collaboration event period, the friendship level of the 2 released aespa characters - aespa - NINGNING and aespa - WINTER of all players will be calculated and accumulate for a special reward. Once the combined friendship level of all players’ aespa characters reaches 1 Million, all players will receive a special in-game code to exchange for 10 aespa Bookmarks (= 10 pulls on the aespa limited summon banners) for free.

As of writing this article, the goal has already been reached and the code has been issued to all players, so for all players who want to obtain the reward, the code is : E7xaespa for 10 free summons on the aespa limited collaboration banners.

Special Limited Collaboration Banner - aespa - GISELLE

Available for 2 weeks starting from December 15th, aespa-GISELLE is the 3rd member of aespa to join Epic Seven in the exciting Epic Seven x aespa collaboration event.

aespa-GISELLE

aespa-GISELLE is a 5* Earth Mage that specializes in dealing massive amounts of damage to 1 foe, defeating them in an instant and granting herself special buffs upon killing the enemy with her special.

aespa-GISELLE 3rd skill is her main skill and is her most powerful skill despite its simplicity. The skill simply grants aespa-GISELLE and an ally with the highest attack a 2 turns attack up buff before attacking an enemy, ignoring all of their damage sharing or damage cut effects. Once the enemy is defeated with this skill, aespa-GISELLE will be granted an extra turn.

aespa-GISELLE’s passive allows her to gain double the amount of Combat Readiness increase by other allies and dispel one debuff from her when she starts her turn, allowing her to be in her best shape to dish out the most amount of damage.

 

aespa-GISELLE kit is extremely simple but effective, with high multiplier and a high base stat for an attacker, aespa-GISELLE will excel at one-shotting troublesome enemies, allowing the team to be more comfortable in battle. She can also be the main damage dealer of the team, picking off enemies one by one to get the team to victory with her kit.

Should You Roll

Yes, Absolutely. Not counting her kit, considering that aespa-GISELLE is a limited collaboration character is enough of a fact for all players to try and get her for collection purposes as limited collaboration characters might not come back at all in the future depending on the circumstances. From a gameplay standpoint, aespa-GISELLE is an extremely powerful character with access to many powerful artifacts to further strengthen her damage potential, therefore, she is a must have for all players who want to stay on top of the meta in the long run.
