Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration Event Guide

With the festive season fast approaching and Epic Seven is going towards the end of its 4th main story chapter and preparing for the 5th, a brand new collaboration event has been announced that surprises every Epic Seven player. Unlike other collaborations that go together with an Anime specific IP, Epic Seven is collaborating with a Korean Music Group by the name of aespa, and with them, bringing to the game many special events, brand new artifacts and 4 new characters that players can roll on for a LIMITED Time.

 

In this guide, we will go over the details of all the events the Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration have in store for its players, in addition to advising players on how they can best accumulate currencies in order to roll for the 4 collab limited characters available for this collaboration event.

Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration Event 

The Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration event is held from the 24th of November, 2022 and will last for a total of 4 weeks following the start of the event. During the event period, various activities and campaigns will be available for all players to participate in, allowing them to obtain both in game and real life rewards, including exclusive albums and gifts from the aespa group themselves as souvenirs.

Some of the events include: Special Login Campaign, Video Viewing Counter Event, Special in-game side story and other limited timed available events.

Epic Seven x aespa Log in Campaign

During the event period, when players log into the game, if they fulfill certain level requirements from the in game, players will be rewarded with special aespa summoning bookmarks, allowing them to summon for free on the limited aespa banners, for up to a total of 30 free pulls with no cost as long as they fulfill the level conditions.

The log in event will last for a total of 7 days, resetting at 3 AM UTC everyday. So players should log in daily in order to accumulate these special collaboration bookmarks in order to roll for the LIMITED aespa characters.

Total Viewing Counter Event

During the Event period, if the combined viewing counter on youtube of the aespa collaboration promotion video reaches certain milestones, all players will be rewarded with special in game rewards corresponding to those milestones. The milestones that needs to reached and their corresponding rewards are:

- 1 Million Views: 1 Million Golds

- 2.5 Million Views: 10 Leifs

- 5 Million Views : 15 Silver Transmit Stones

- 6 Million Views: 3 Epic Catalyst Selection Chest

- 7 Million Views: 1 Terra Phantasma

- 8 Million Views: 5 Greater Artifact Charms

- 9 Million Views: 2 Molagoras

- 10 Million Views: a 5* Hero Summon Ticket

 

As of writing this article, all milestones have been cleared , therefore, players should log into the game as soon as possible to claim these rewards for themselves.

Daily Activity & Raffle Collaboration Event

During the Event period, fulfilling special daily tasks will reward players with Stamina and Gold in addition to special Collaboration Points. These Collaboration Points can be accumulated and used to enter a special raffle for real life items, including special Epic Seven merch and items, aespa exclusive merchandise and albums and the like.

It is important to note that players need to be living in countries that allow shipment from Korea in order to be able to obtain these real life items in the event that they win.

Special Time-Limited Side Story

Like other Collaborations before this, the Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration also brings with it a special Limited time in game Side Story that documents the adventures of the 4 members of aespa in the world of Orbis.

Clearing this special side story will reward players with Event Exclusive Artifacts, Collab Exclusive Pets and other character upgrading materials, allowing players to quickly enhance the brand new Collaboration characters obtainable throughout the event duration.

Epic Seven x aespa Collaboration Special Rate up Banners - Should You Pull

Throughout the collaboration period, members of the aespa squad will slowly be revealed one by one and released into the game in the form of limited rate up banners, available for a limited time and won’t be available for summoning past their Limited Banners. Each Collaboration Character’s banner will last for 2 weeks since their initial debut and won’t coincide with other banners. In addition, players can spend the special collaboration bookmarks in order to perform summoning in these banners for the discounted rate of 1 bookmark = 1 summon.

So far, only 2 members of the aespa squad have been introduced, 1 is already in the game while the other will be added soon, these are aespa-WINTER and aespa-NINGNING. The others’ details will be revealed in the future.

aespa-WINTER

aespa-WINTER is a Fire Elemental Thief Class Hero that specializes in dealing fixed damage to 1 target of the opponent, stunning and killing them in addition to buffing herself.

aespa-WINTER shines greatly when coming up against tanky teams that use non-attacking skills. Her skill 3 allows her to deal massive amounts of damage to 1 enemy, dispeling their buffs and stunning the target for an amazing 2 turns, something that most heroes in the game are not able to do. In addition, her skill 3 also deals a massive 5000 fix damage to the enemy, and this fix damage amount can be increased further up to 15000 for each time aespa-WINTER uses this skill.

 

aespa-WINTER’s passive talent also allows her to survive better and spam her 3rd skill, with its ability to fully cleanse all of aespa-WINTER’s debuffs and reset her 3rd skill cooldown when the enemy uses a non-attacking skill, essentially granting aespa-WINTER a new turn to use her 3rd skill all over again to stun the enemy.

aespa- NINGNING

aespa-NINGNING is a Fire Elemental Soul Weaver Class Hero that specializes in hindering the enemy’s team, completely destroying their barriers and dealing damage proportional to their barrier’s strength in addition to buffing the team’s combat capability.

aespa-NINGNING’s main skill is her 3rd skill, which inflicts Barrier Inversion and dispel 2 buffs from the enemies, allowing her to essentially dispel all buffs from the enemy’s team in addition to inverting the enemy’s barrier, dealing damage to them proportional to the strength of their barrier. If the enemies’ are granted a barrier before she activates this skill, aespa-NINGNING will obtain an additional turn.

 

aespa-NINGNING’s 2nd skill is a buff skill that decreases the enemy’s Combat Readiness and increases the highest attack allies’ Combat Readiness, granting them attack buff and helping them to fight faster.

 

In addition, aespa-NINGNING’s skills are non-attacking skills, making it guaranteed to hit the enemies no matter what, guaranteeing the debuffs landing.

Should You Roll

ABSOLUTELY. Not counting the viability of the aespa Heroes and what they mean to the game’s meta, the sole fact that they are Collaboration Limited Heroes make it so that they are so rare that all players should prioritize rolling for them in the event of them not returning. In terms of meta, the aespa heroes are extremely useful and can become meta-defining in their own ways. So players should absolutely pour their funds into rolling for these characters.
