With 2024 New Year coming extremely quickly, Epic Seven players will have the chance to partake in various events that will reward players handsomely and allow players to obtain many beneficial hero and artifact upgrading items in addition to various currencies that players can use to summon for various different heroes to prepare for future contents in 2024. Epic Seven 2024 New Year Celebration Event

With the upcoming 2024 New Year Celebration event, Epic Seven will be hosting a whole host of brand new rewarding events and campaigns in addition to changes in gameplay and balance changes for different heroes.

New Year 2024 Log In Celebration Campaign

With the 2024 New Year, players will be able to receive a special package upon the 1st day of the year, rewarding all players with a special gift of 1000 skystones upon logging in.

For this special present, as long as players have finished the game’s tutorial and have finished the story up to a certain point, all players will receive this reward. However, players should note that this reward will only be available for those who log into the game during the first week of the 2024 new year, so players should log in at least once during this time period.

Hero Balance - Byblis

Together with the New Year update patch, players will also be treated with a brand new emergency hero update patch for the 5*  Limited Ice Ranger Hero - Byblis.

Byblis is a 5* Limited Ice Ranger Hero that specializes in disrupting the enemy’s team if the enemy ever initiates a counterattack against the team when Byblis is present. However, due to her relatively mediocre bulk and slow skill kit, Byblis’ usability was limited in nature. Therefore, an emergency Hero balance patch has been implemented to help turn Byblis into a better Limited Hero for players to roll for.

 

With this Hero Balance Update Patch, Byblis’ 2nd skill passive has changed so that upon an enemy activating a counter attack, Byblis will immediately gain 20% Combat Readiness, allowing her to immediately disrupt the flow of the battle. In addition the effects of the passive have also been enhanced, with the special extra attack from the 2nd skill passive reducing the buff duration of all enemies by 2 turns instead of only 1 and have a higher chance of decreasing the defense of all enemies for 2 turns.

 

In addition, Byblis’ 3rd skill has also obtained another additional effect when she uses her 3rd skill. With the new buff, Byblis will now remove 10 souls from the enemy team, making it extremely devastating for teams that heavily relies on soul burn for extra effects.

Special Mystic Rotation Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the New Year Celebration update patch, players will also be able to roll on a brand new Mystic Rotation banner for returning Moonlight Heroes - featuring the 5* Light Knight Belian, the 5* Light Thief  Spirit Eye Celine, the 5* Light Thief Specimen Sez and the 5* Light Warrior Judge Kise.

Belian

Belian is a 5* Light Knight Hero that specializes in dealing massive amounts of AOE damage to all enemies and inflicting them with a large variety of debuffs that completely shut down and disable different teams of heroes.

Belian’s strong point lies in the fact that all of her effects and skills are AOE attacks and all have very powerful effects that massively hinders the enemy as long as Belian is on the field and uses her skill. Belian’s 2nd skill passive is a god tier passive that prevents the enemy team from gaining souls while she is on the field, massively reducing the threats of teams that rely on Soul Burning for extra effects. Belian’s 1st skill allows her to deal a massive AOE attack, removing 1 buff from all enemies with each skill use, making her a very strong contender for a counter attacking equipment set. Belian’s 3rd skill is a massively powerful skill that inflicts many different debuffs that hinders the power of the enemy team.

Spirit Eye Celine

Spirit Eye Celine is a 5* Light Elemental Hero that has the special ability to not only revive all dead allies with her 3rd skill but also granting her and all allies 1 turn Immortality, preventing them from dying for an extra turn after reviving them from the dead. 

Once Spirit Eye Celine has activated her 3rd skill, she will be granted a special buff status called “Possessed” that allow her access to the enhanced version of her 1st skill and allow her to counterattack with her 1st skill whenever she is hit with a critical hit from the enemy. After her hero balance buff, whenever she uses her normal attack, she will always use her enhanced normal attack 100% of the time while under the “Possessed” buff. Additionally, the health recovery upon her counterattacking will also be increased to help her survivability.

Specimen Sez

Specimen Sez is a 5* Light elemental thief that specializes in massively punishing enemies who have been inflicted with the stun status and have the ability to prevent the enemies from acting by inflicting them with the stun debuffs by his own skills.

Specimen Sez skills revolves around inflicting all enemies with the stun debuff in order to help initiate his own skill kit’s main strong point which is her 3rd skill. Specimen Sez 3rd skill is a very powerful skill that has very powerful effects but very optional initiation conditions. When used, Specimen Sez 3rd skill will deal a massive blow of damage of that pierces 30% of the enemy’s defense and up to 100% if the enemy is inflicted with the Stun debuff, in addition, if the enemy is defeated by the skill, he will immediately reset his 3rd skill cooldown, allowing him to pick off yet another enemy with his 3rd skill against stunned enemies.

Judge Kise

Judge Kise is a 5* Light Warrior that specializes in going first in the team to deal a massive blow of damage to all enemies and massively hinders the enemy team’s momentum whenever her skill lands.

Judge Kise’s main skill is her 3rd skill which attacks all enemies with a massive blow of damage and increases the skill cooldown of all enemies by 2 turns, making it impossible for the enemy to use their 2nd and 3rd skill when it comes to their turn.

Who Should You Pull

Out of the 4 Moonlight 5* Heroes on Mystic Hero rotation, Belian and Spirit Eye Celine are among the best top tier Moonlight Heroes currently in the meta, making them very tempting targets for players to roll on.
