Epic Seven Summer Side Story Event - A Midsummer Paradise

With the summer season, Epic Seven is holding special events in order to celebrate the release of ones of its most important events in a long while - the Special Side Story A Midsummer Paradise These special events will reward players with a large amounts of rewards and limited time available currencies needed to advance further in the game and build up your characters further in preparation for the side story contents.

Special Summer Log In Event

During the event celebration durations, when logging into the game, players will be able to obtain special limited time rewards from the Special Summer Log In Event, ranging from special currencies, event specific items, character upgrading materials and catalysts, premium currencies and bookmarks and finally, a  Free 5* Artifact and a Free 5* Hero.

In order to obtain the rewards from the event, players will need to log into the game for a total of 14 days during the celebration period, with each day rewarding players with 1 special reward. On the 7th day, player will be rewarded with the 5* Artifact ticket and on the 14th day, players will be able to obtain the special 5* Hero ticket. It is important to note that these rewards will be rewarded regardless of the day the players log into the game, so players do not have to log in consecutively in order to obtain the rewards, they just need to log in a total of 14 days during the event’s duration and they will be able to obtain all of the rewards.

Special Limited Time Summer Side Story - A Midsummer Paradise

The main attraction for the summer season of Epic Seven, the special one of a kind side story event - A Midsummer Paradise will provide players with interesting stories, challenging stages and a large amount of rewards to obtain only available for a limited time during the event’s 1 month duration. 

This side story functions differently from others before it by having all of the stories of the event available right away after each part unlocking every week. Players will have the ability to read each part of the story when they are unlocked gradually with each week of the side story event and once they have finished reading the event’s story, players will be able to unlock the special event side story challenge stages to farm for materials, special items and epic gear equipment.

A Midsummer Paradise - Special Challenge Stages and Bonus Characters

The challenge stages of A Midsummer Paradise Side Story is divided into 5 different difficulties, with the quantity and quality of the rewards increasing with the higher difficulty players can clear and farm. During the challenge stages, players will have to form 2 teams of 4 heroes in order to challenge the 2 stages of the boss, each stage with a special gimmick and mechanic specifically cater to that phase of the boss.

When forming teams, players will be able to put 1 hero in the Key Hero spot, which will allow that hero to appear in both teams for both phases of the boss and it is highly recommended that players place the event special bonus character in this spot in order to help boost the allies effect during the challenge stages and allow both teams to gain the bonus from the event.

When players have bonus heroes from the event - Ocean Breeze Luluca, they will be granted special buffs when putting the bonus hero in the key hero slot, allowing the entire team to be granted a damage boost and a damage reduction effect, in addition to reducing the difficulty of the boss stage altogether. THe higher the bonus hero’s memory imprint is, the better the effect and the easier the challenge stages becomes.

A Midsummer Paradise - Milage Shop

The Event currencies players obtained during the special A Midsummer Paradise Side Story can be exchanged for special limited time available rewards and premium currencies, including the special newly introduced Reversion Mana Stone, an item that allows players to revert the stat of a bad equipment in order to enhance it again to make it better and roll better substats for players.

In addition to the reward exchange, players can also exchange their hard earned event currencies to obtain special Epic Equipment pieces by exchanging 400 points for 1 Epic Equipment from 1 of 3 equipment sets - Resistance Set, Counter Set and Penetration Set.

Special Limited Time Rate Up Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the release of the A Midsummer Paradise Special Summer event is the release of a limited time hero and her rate up banner for players to roll for as a bonus hero to be used in the event - The 5* Soul Weaver Ocean Breeze Luluca.

Ocean Breeze Luluca

Ocean Breeze Luluca is a 5* Earth Elemental Soul Weaver Hero with the ability to greatly enhance the entire team’s defensive capabilities and hinder the enemy’s combat abilities with her special passive.

Ocean Breeze Luluca's strong point lies in her ability to not only cleanse debuffs from all allies but also grant them a 2 turns defense up buff and a special “ice cream” buff which allows them to heal a whopping 20% of their HP when they are hit by the enemy. Furthermore, when enemies use non-attacking skills, Luluca will be able to gather special focus with her passive and once her focus reaches 5, she will be able to initiate an AOE attack against all enemies, dispeling their buffs and debuffing them with a hit chance down debuff, lasting for 2 turns, hindering their ability to hit the team.

Should You Roll

Yes, Absolutely. Ocean Breeze Luluca is a limited Hero, meaning she will not be available after her banner ends in Epic Seven, making rolling for her an absolute priority for players in general. Not only that, having her will benefit greatly as she is one of the best heroes in the game that grants the team a massive defensive boost that no heroes can achieve and having her will help in the game both in PvE and PvP contents.
