I have this app on Google TV and Roku TV. Thus far, this app always gives me trouble streaming. It either boots me out, freezes, or tells me it has technical difficulties. I haven't been able to finish a whole show and I am regretting having paid the subscription for the year. I messaged tech support and they have not answered in over 2 weeks. Very disappointed. I will cancel when my year is up. I do not recommend this service.
Of all streaming apps, for all platforms... THIS app crashes more in a single episode than all the others in a month. Much could be done to make this app better. For TVs, phones, and PCs. If the other streaming services can get it together, surely you can Paramount. Fixes would be stability improvements and navigation smoothness. It shouldn't take more than 3 seconds to register that I've clicked pause or selected a show or tried to swipe through the available shows/movies.
This app is terrible simply because the sign in options are complete trash. It's constantly asking me to sign in on my TV devices, I'm guessing after an update. They have an option to type in your username and password (not fun on a remote), scan a QR code (the most successful option), or get a notification on your phone app as long as your mobile device is on the same Wi-Fi. This last option never works. I wouldn't care if I didn't have to log into the app on my TV nearly every other time.
