Hire Good Lawyers, Fire the Bad ones

Hiring lawyers is an essential part of this game. Can a firm exist without lawyers? Absolutely not. However, you have to be careful when hiring lawyers as some of them can either help your firm grow, keep it stuck or stop it from progressing entirely. To hire a lawyer, make an offer to any available lawyer and hire them. 

 

Do keep an eye on their attributes as you will want to hire a specific type of lawyer for a specific department. Hiring Rare lawyers will help your firm more than Common ones. And when hiring lawyers, hire the ones you can afford. If you hire a lawyer whose salary is too low, or they see that your firm isn't big enough yet, they'll most likely turn down your offer. 

 

 

Using the Refresh button

If after seeing all available lawyers and you're unable to choose from the options, you can actually refresh the options and get a new set of lawyers to choose from. However, you can only use this feature five times daily and by watching Ads. 

 

It's a nice inclusion to the game, considering how short the ads are and the limit to which you can refresh the options. If you don't like the available set of lawyers, all you have to do is watch an ad of fewer than 20 seconds, and you'll be given a new set of lawyers to pick from. 

 

 

Firing lawyers or Replacing them

One of the game's fun aspects is that you can actually fire your staff workers. This includes the receptionist, the delivery worker, detectives, and even your lawyers. There are two options to choose from if you have to let go of staff. You can decide to fire them from your firm, or you can decide to keep them by replacing them with a different lawyer with better attributes. 

 

 

Replacing or firing lawyers is necessary because as your firm grows and gains prestige, some of the lawyers with low attributes will be unable to keep up with the overflow of clients, requiring hiring new lawyers with much better attributes. 

 

Tap on the button on the bottom right part of the screen to replace a lawyer to manage your staff. Select a specific lawyer assigned to an office to replace him/her. If you prefer to let the lawyer go by firing them, first, you'd have to make sure that the particular lawyer isn't assigned to any office in the firm. You will have to replace a lawyer before you can fire them. 

 

Understanding how STARS work

Players will notice a golden star at the top left corner of the screen when playing the game. This star represents your firm's prestige level. Stars increase after you have completed all the necessary upgrades in a specific working area. After you have claimed a new star, you may be able to rank up that working area and unlock more upgrades. 

 

The new unlocked upgrades will allow you further expand your firm's offices and departments to accommodate more staff workers. Carefully go through all the requirements needed to expand an office in their descriptions, and if you stumble upon a blocked feature, you may have to put in extra work hours and win more cases to unlock it. 

 

Pay attention to your clients

Observing your clients is something worth doing in this game. Do you notice them leave a lawyer's office angry? Or do you notice them leaving excited? Both expressions mean something for your firm, and while the former means you have to change something in order to keep them happy, the latter means you have to keep doing the same thing and improve on it to keep them excited. 

 

Pay attention to your client's needs because if you don't, you'll fail to see the ones who get up and leave after waiting for too long. While their actions don't necessarily affect your firm's progress, it means you're losing some money, and it indicates that you have to make adjustments. 

 

Whenever clients walk into your firm, they'll usually have a symbol on top of their heads after leaving the reception. The receptionist will then direct them to the correct lawyer's office. If you've noticed, these symbols represent the type of case that a client has brought and will head to the appropriate office. 

 

You can solve the issue of angry or unhappy clients by improving parts of the business process such as ranking up your offices, upgrading your reception, hiring good lawyers, performing research related to the client's case and many more. You can just spitball around it and develop your own strategy.

 

Understanding how the Research section works

The research section, like hiring lawyers, is one of the game's most relevant features. If you wish to succeed, you will have to tap on the microscope icon on the top right corner of the screen and do some research. The heading says 'Investigations.' There are three sections you can choose from: firm, Economy, and Employees. Spending time to research helps you get discounts, raise your fees, unlock new types of cases, etc.

 

However, each department requires specific research, and it will do your firm good if you take some time to read through all the descriptions in order to know which section you should improve. You should adapt hour research according to your firm's growth strategy to save time. Tapping on a specific one reveals the permanent upgrade that will be applied to the game. 

 

 

Watch Ads

Most idle tycoon games offer a lot of cash for watching ads, but not this game. The reward for watching Ads isn't exactly generous, which sort of makes it less of a tip in the game, but if you're desperate for some cash, then it wouldn't hurt to take some time to watch an ad or two.

 

Prioritize your upgrades

Some upgrades are more important than others. Since you're making money from clients, you should upgrade the lawyers' offices more and upgrade the delivery worker's less. This is not to say that upgrading the delivery worker's office isn't relevant, but since they're not bringing in revenue for the firm, it's best to emphasize upgrading their offices less. 

 

The same rule should apply to other less relevant departments in your firm. It is best you spend your money where double will come from afterward.
