Diablo Immortal is still in its Closed Alpha. However, players have been grinding and have found out multiple advanced tips and tricks that help you progress faster and turn you into a much better player. Starting Off:

 

 

When you log into the game, you are going to have to choose between six-character classes. You can choose between the Crusader, which is brand new to the Closed Alpha. You can go with the Demon Hunter, Barbarian, Monk, or the Wizard. Now, upon release of the game in full, when it launches global, there will also be a Necromancer.

 

If you are looking for a character that is going to be up in your face and not want to go ranged, you should go for the Crusader, Barbarian, or Monk. These are your melee characters for the most part, and you are going to get right on top of your enemies without taking much damage.

 

If you are looking to fight with ranged, you should be going for the Demon Hunter, the Wizard, or the Necromancer. However, the Necromancer has still not been out for testing, so no one has gotten their hand on the class. However, from previous releases of Diablo, it can be expected that the Necromancer too is going to be Ranged and is one of the most anticipated classes in the game so far.

 

After you have gone through each class, you get to choose between the gender of the class and then three different character looks. You can go with what you like.

 

Understanding your HUD:

 

You really need to know what is where when it comes to your HUD. First of all, on the top right of your screen, you have your map. If you go to your map and hit the back button, you go to the world map and see whatever zones are available. When the game does release, you will be able to get to level 60 zones. On top of that, you have your settings menu, and there are a few which we feel are important.

 

Firstly, set everything to auto pick up in general settings. This means when you are running through the map and taking on enemies. You are automatically going to pick up the gold, gear, or resources that are being dropped, so you don’t leave anything behind.

 

 

Set your graphics to a setting that works for your device. If you use an older device, you should lower the graphics settings.

 

Your HUD on the left side of your screen can be expanded and redacted. It does not get in the way of your gameplay if you don’t want it o. If you click on it, it will even put footsteps on the ground where you are looking to walk. But, if you don’t want them, click on that skill or quest that you are trying to do, and they will disappear.

 

You can also auto navigate to places you have already been to. So, for example, if you want to go to a place where you have a quest. All you need to do is click on that quest, and it will auto navigate you to where the quest should be. At any point in time, you can take control by clicking or moving. However, this will not be auto-battle at all in any way and will only auto-navigate. Sometimes, you are going to run through some bosses that will provide you with more XP along the way as well.

 

Also, as a part of this HUD, you have a rewards system called the Codex. Inside the Codex, you have different sections that will reward you for doing different things. You will get resources and experience as well from these quests. You want the experience so you can progress more towards the end game. You have activity, achievement, exploration, and guided rewards from the Codex.

 

The Codex:

 

Make sure that you are collecting all the essences and bestiary requirements because they will help you move fast as quickly as possible. In addition to these rewards, you also have your Battle Pass. Remember that the Battle Pass is free for the top tier and paid for the bottom tier. Currently, we have no idea what will be on the bottom tier. But, it is going to be on a 30-day cycle.

 

You will be getting something good after about every five tiers. When you go all the way to level 40, you will be getting one of the best gyms in the game, Power and Command. So, make sure you are grinding through the free tier. The Bottom tier is probably going to be providing you with some massive value.

 

From the earlier edition of Alpha, it did seem like the few dollars you were going to pay for the bottom tier will be very well worth it.

 

Understanding Skills:

 

Skills synergize very well in the game. It is not worth waiting to use your skills. You are going to want to use them often because they regenerate very quickly. The countdown timer goes down very fast on skills, and you are able to go back in and utilize skills. DO, do not sit and use the primary attack over and over again. Utilize all your skills so you can get some cool animations and deal with a larger amount of DPS.

 

You are able to carry around a bunch of stuff inside the game, but you don't want to carry a bunch of unnecessary items. So, go to your satchel and if you find things that you do not need. Click on the Blacksmith and salvage those items because they provide you with pieces that you can use for better upgrades later on.

 

Do not be afraid to upgrade or socket gems in other gear because when you change to a different piece, that gem or all the other statistics transfer to your new gear. So, don’t waste time trying to save resources because you can transfer all the good things about your current gear to your new set with no repercussions whatsoever. In essence, you can be strong throughout the game.

 

When you come over to your skills, you will notice that you have two primary attacks and other skills. When you take a look at these skills, all of them will have different skills. These can also be moved around, auto-equipped, and changed to different areas of your attack screen. But you don’t need to worry about upgrading these individually because inside of Diablo Immortal when you progress through the game, these skills will organically upgrade themselves.

 

So, when you are at a max level of 55, you will have all skills unlocked and all skills upgraded to max level. What this means is that when you get yourself a brand new skill, don't be afraid to use it right away because you spent so much time ranking up some other skill. In Diablo Immortal., that doesn’t matter. Use skills that work for you and test them all out to make sure you get the best build possible.

 

Keep Westmarch In Your Mind:

 

 

Remember that at any point in time, you can teleport to the places you have been before. Over at Westmarch, there are tons of people and tons of things to do. The first thing is the Bounty Board. You will be able to go to the Bounty Board every single day and choose up to 12 different bounties. These give you extremely large amounts of XP and resources. If you are looking to power your character fast, you should be doing your bounty board as much as possible.

 

The next objective of Westmarch is the part where you can go for Elder Rifts. Elder Rifts are the part of the game where you are running through dungeons, and you can get rewards for doing so and get modifiers by adding rare and legendary crests. If you use a rare crest, you will be getting some extra rewards, and if you use a legendary crest, you will be guaranteed a legendary gem for every legendary crest.

 

You can go to the crest market and buy crests utilizing the eternal orbs you are going to get from the game. These are things that you can purchase or that you can get from playing the game as well. You should be using these as often as you can whenever you can.

 

You should also be going to the Challenge Rifts when you are challenging yourself against your previous items so you can get better, get more rewards, and have more fun. You also have a Blacksmith at Westmarch who can salvage as mentioned above and upgrade as well with gold.

 

DO not be scared to do this, as you will actually be upgrading the weapons slot. So if you were swapping out one weapon to another, you would still be getting all those stats. Spend the gold. It is here to be spent and spend on your gear so you can be more successful when running around battling with demons.

 

You can also go to the Apprentice Jeweler, where you can modify or strengthen your legendary gems. You can also forge them from these ruins that you get from running those Elder Rifts. Even if you are running with someone who is using Legendary Crests, you can still get ruins that let you get Legendary Gems.

 

You want to use your Health Globes when you get low on health. Your health will not automatically regenerate. You are going to need to use that when you want your health to generate. You get more of these health gloves when battling and participating in the game. The only way to get gear and weapons inside the game is by playing Diablo Immortal. They cannot be purchased as of yet.

 

Tips For A Casual Player:

 

 

If you are someone with very limited time and you want to casually play Diablo Immortal, we would suggest you completely ignore being a Shadow or trying to become an Immortal. Once you do that, you start giving yourself expectations of things you will need to do to participate with other people. So, if you are a casual gamer mobile or PC and if you have less time to play, don’t even think about making Shadow Contracts or becoming Immortal raiding the vault or doing the different events, just play through the Campaign, do your Elder Rifts, Challenge Rifts and Bounty Boards instead since doing everything can be extremely time-consuming.

 

Next, if you are going to be an Adventurer, we suggest you maintain your status as an Adventurer. The first thing you should do when you log in is and finish off your Bounty Boards and make sure that you have adequate gear. If you ever feel like you are running low on gear, we suggest going on Dungeon Runs instead. All in all, for a casual player, Diablo Immortal might not be extremely easy if you want to get to the top of the leaderboards since there are just tons of things you will need to do as compared to other mobile games.

 

However, that does not mean that you won’t be having fun as the game still keeps most of its traditional Rifts and Runs from previous iterations of the game, which means that you will still be able to participate in World Boss events, keep grinding, and leveling up at your own time or partying up occasionally with friends to take down bigger bosses.
