COD M RPD Intro

Select your weapon. To dominate your opponents, use its compatible equipment. To become one of the best Call of Duty players, adjust your settings, customize your layouts, and practice as much as you can. The preceding guide explains how to use the gun and what it can do while dominating your opponents in a nutshell.

RPD Overview:

Let's dive right into the details of RPD and how you can benefit from it.

Multiplayer:

Even without any attachments, the weapon is potent. It deals 40 damage at all ranges, with no drop-off, and kills three hits to the body. Stopping Power raises the damage to 56, allowing for a two-hit kill at any range. Headshots are only helpful when Stopping Power is not used, reducing the three-hit kill to two hits.

Complementing the significant damage is a medium rate of fire of 700 rounds per minute, giving the RPD the fastest time to kill in most situations with Stopping Power among all light machine guns. Furthermore, it has low recoil. Besides this, it also has some side effects, such as the longest reload time of any gun and poor hip-fire accuracy, both of which can be mitigated.

Battle Royale:

Although the RPD does mediocre damage at close range, it truly shines at long range due to its shallow damage drop-off. It also has charming recoil patterns. However, the gun has significant mobility issues, making close-range gunfights extremely disadvantageous. The gun can be found as Rare blueprints on the floor and as Legendary blueprints in Airdrops.

A Red Dot Sight, ACOG Scope, or Grip can be added to the RPD. It is primarily used for mid to long shots and is well-known for its high capacity and high power magazine. It is capable of long-range kills because its recoil is less than the AK-47, and it has no idle sway. When equipped with the Stopping Power perk, the RPD outperforms both the M249 SAW and the M60E4 in terms of damage per second. The M249 SAW deals significantly less damage per second than the RPD or M60E4, and both weapons require the same number of shots to kill (except in close quarters or middle-range, where the M60E4 can be shot in two shots without Stopping Power).

Using the Grip improves the RPD's already impressive long-range performance.

Because the iron sights on the RPD are large and unobstructed, the Red Dot Sight and the ACOG Scope are less valuable. The front sight is not replaced when using the Red Dot Sight, making it more hurdle than most other guns, and the ACOG Scope adds sway. The RPD, on the other hand, has slightly misaligned iron sights. This is visible when using an optical attachment, as the reticle is slight to the right of the front post.

When fired automatically, the RPD has relatively low recoil, making it ideal to keep enemies at bay and spray large groups of enemies down.

The reloading animation in Modern Warfare Remastered has been changed to pull the charging handle after changing the belt drum rather than before.

Best Attachments:

Following are the best attachments to be considered and used with the gun to improve its ability.

  • Muzzle: OWC Light Compensator.
  • Ammunition: 150 Round Belt.
  • Optic: Classic Red Dot Sight.
  • Underbarrel: Strike Foregrip.
  • Stock: YKM Combat Stock.

Muzzle: With the RPD in Call of Duty Mobile, mobility is already an issue. As a result, lowering it slightly won't do much harm. This attachment reduces ADS speed as well as ADS bullet spread accuracy. The improvements are due to improved vertical recoil control and lateral recoil stability.

Optic: The Optic option is straightforward. Mount the classic Call of Duty red dot sight on the RPD and start shooting. It provides a much more solid view when aiming than the weapon's standard iron sights.

Stock: This stock increases the RPD's ADS speed. The drawbacks are ADS bullet spread accuracy, flinch stability, and vertical recoil control. Thankfully, it is not a significant decrease.

Underbarrel: The Strike Foregrip is a popular attachment in Call of Duty: Mobile. It reduces movement speed while significantly improving ADS bullet spread accuracy and vertical recoil control.

Ammunition: The RPD now has a higher starting ammunition count thanks to the 150 Round Belt ammunition attachment. This makes it much comfortable to spray down opposing players without worrying about reloading in the middle of a fight.

Advantages to Use Attachments:

Agile: The RPD's mobility will already be nearly non-existent. As a result, putting Agile on the RPD loadout will allow players to compensate for the lack of mobility in some ways. Agile allows players to gain control of objects faster and reduces ADS speed after sprinting by 85 percent.

Amped: Amped appears to be the only viable Green perk for this loadout, depending on the secondary weapon. Amped enables Call of Duty Mobile players to swap weapons and reload launchers more quickly. This is critical when switching to a sidearm to finish an opponent or fight at close range.

Complete Silence: When Dead Silence is an option, many of the Blue perks in Call of Duty Mobile seem pointless. Having silent movement is invaluable in a game where you are constantly on the move, trying to get a flank on the enemy.
