Works well to allow users to be more mindful of the time/places spent on their phones. One bug I've noticed is that if you lock your phone with any app still open (rather than switching back to the home screen), if you go to the home screen and try to swipe to the app screen, it won't work. If you accidentally leave an app open, you have to go to the home screen, lock and unlock your phone, and then swipe to the apps screen. It's quite annoying, but so far, my only complaint.
Just what I've been looking for. I have bought a couple minimalist phones but have always missed having a good camera. This app allows me to have both. A couple things that would make it better would be two more apps on the main screen below a line that allows you to put a 3 minute timer on, ability to make your whole phone black and white, and sets your phone to battery save by default.
I like the idea, and it's helped me a little bit. However, my android galaxy has the "history" button, for 'recently used apps' and their icons are normal. So I can easily switch from app to app using that, and it defeats the whole purpose. This was $30. I do think the app pop ups have been helpful, since they make you aware of how much time you're using. My only other critique is that when the timer runs out for the app's usage, it doesn't close the app - which I think would be more effective.
