Great piece of software!!! For me, the meat and potatoes of the app is being able to insert markers and set up loops so sections can be repeated and slowed down for easy learning. As music plays, notes show on a piano keyboard as well as a piano roll display that can be configured several ways - horizontal, vertical, etc. There is capability to load different sets of sounds, a mixer with ability to solo and mute individual tracks, and lots of bells and whistles too numerous to mention here.
On my Galaxy S7, most of the time, when I try to load a soundfont, even if it is the default one, it will just sit on a loading screen. Same thing happens when trying to browse through folders. EDIT: I have noticed that this issue only happens when very large midis are loaded. This issue still happens on my new phone, a Galaxy A32 5G running Android 12. It seems like this app doesn't run too well in general on Android 12.
This app is extremely useful for analyzing the harmonic structure of some favorite songs. If you are a composer, you are curious about how your favorite musicians wrote their material and you can find accurate midis, then there is no better app for this. Even better is you can treat the songs with a soundfont of your choice. Thanks for this app.
