You can't cast to the TV. Basic function only. (power, volume, basic channel guide unless you pay) If a hotel wants to differentiate itself, allows casting to the TV's from our own accounts. Yes, that means getting a fiber connection and allotting reasonable Internet speeds for every user in the hotel. But if you offer that while other places don't I mean. Just read the reviews. Everyone is asking for it so someone please take the initiative and listen to the customer base.
This app is terrible. It keeps crashing. There is no way to cast from the connected device to the TV. You have to pay to even get basic info on the program listing. It doesn't even do as much as the TV remote in the room. Not sure if some of the issues are due to the setup for Harrah's but this app could be so much better. It's pretty much useless as is.
Just does the basic functions. Works the channel, volume, power. That's it for free. 99cent upgrade to see the current channel guide programming. That's a bate and switch. I can do more from the controller. But I suppose if you don't have a controller then it would have some value. So, I say don't bother.
