If you log your Bumble account into this app, you can't use the website anymore. Mobile app only. It converts your account and you can't convert back to regular Bumble. --- This app tries to make you hate it. It keeps notifying with nudges that can't be disabled. It constantly prompts me to complete my profile because I didn't want to add my religion and star sign. It deleted one of my photos for no reason and unverified my account. It defaults to playing videos over cellular data (!).
So this app would be great if most of the stuff weren't behind a pay-wall. I have found it so difficult because you can't see matches, run out of swipes, and have very limited info on your profile unless you have premium. I know this is meant to encourage more thoughtful swiping, but you make this difficult until you fork over cash. The pay wall is $13/ week or $25/month. I think that's really steep to just find some decent friends. There's no 7 or 30 day trial period, there's just blocks.
First u cannot see who likes you w/o paying and I was led to believe this was a free app. I was unable to add my artwork which is part of who I am, they removed it from my profile. It's already hard enough to find those amazing people you can call friends without having to pay. Feels like buying friends. The matches weren't even close to what I was liking/disliking so the algorithm has faulty parameters. It's a great concept but shoddy execution. 👎🏼
