I have used several other fitness tracking apps. Most are really hard to work with - at least their free version. But the Adidas app is really good. I have never had it quit mid-activity on its own (others have); it measures distance instead of the ridiculous "steps" (which leads to easy cheating in any challenge); you can leave a comment on anyone's activity, but the world will see it, so it keeps everything pretty family-friendly.
Doesn't work on pixel 2 watch. Will not run, run for 5 seconds and crash, or run 18 minutes and crash. UPDATE: I contacted support and I got a boilerplate response that didn't even read my email detailing version numbers. BTW, I had already done everything they suggested before contacting support. It didn't help. I have uninstalled the app. UPDATE II: tried 10/27 update. Still doesn't work on watch. Terminates prematurely and/or can't find GPS.
Have been using Runstastic free for two years and the prior version helped me train for a sprint triathlon. The latest version, however, is CRAMMED with ads! They interfere with use. I would happpily watch one or two 15s ads before starting or adding an activity, but when they pop up literally right in the middle of adding or editing activities,it's frustrating and distracting. Too many push messages as well. Product team needs to holistically reevaluate the free experience because it's far less usable as is.
