Survivor.io Beginner's Guide and Gameplay Walkthrough

For all the arcade game fans, we have brought a new game called Survivor.io, a zombie killer that is a little similar to the centipede. The goal is to survive 15 minutes from the horde of zombies that comes at you. The hard part is as time passes, the number of zombies comes after you at a faster speed in great numbers, and you have to avoid getting pinged down by killing everything.

You will get many weapons and gadgets like missile turrets and lightning generators, and when you evolve them, you will get to use even a wheel of death or whistling arrow from the guardian of the galaxy to aid you in fights. 

 

Of course, all of them will not fit every occasion, and some items will do much damage and should be chosen over any other, while some gadgets have to be selected according to the weapons you have. Doing all this and progressing may be a little hard for Survivor.io beginners, so follow along; we will show what you should know as a Survivor.io beginner to succeed.

 

How the Survivor.io Works

 

As we said earlier in this Survivor.io beginner guide, the main goal is to survive for 15 minutes. In the beginning, the zombie count and their speed are reasonably easy to avoid, but as the time you survive in the field increases, the faster and tougher zombies will come out. 

 

 

Unlike centipedes, you can't pick up the weapons from the field. You have to kill zombies and collect the crystals they drop; once you collect enough, you will be able to buy new weapons. There are for kinds of crystals,

 

• Green tiny crystals - have the lowest value and a widespread drop.
• Green large crystals  - are worth more than small ones but don't have a significant difference.
• Blue crystals - are dropped from large zombies that come in 3rd or 4th waves above these and have good value.
• Yellow crystals - rear drops and have the highest value.

 

In every wave, there will be one or two elites; if you kill them, they will drop golden boxes; opening these chests will give you a spinning wheel thrush this wheel, you will get a buff or weapon upgrade at random, and for one chapter there will be 3 or 4 bosses. Bosses that come out in the early stage will be relatively easy, but bosses that come out will test all your skills to survive. When you kill a boss, they drop a golden crate, sometimes letting you have three upgrades.

 

Strategies to Follow

 

When you traverse the map, you will see wooden boxes opening them will give you a magnet, a bomb, food to generate health, and most of the time, these boxes will provide you with gold. If you see a magnet while opening these boxes, don't pick it up as soon as you see them. Try to kill many zombies around it and pick it up later. This way, you don't have to go from crystal to crystal because the magnet will pull all the crystals around it.

 

Then the bomb, this fantastic item is a great crowd control; it will wipe out anything on your screen in seconds, so try to let a few zombies get closer before using it. The same goes for the food; don't pick it unless you really need it because not every gold box will drop food.

 

 

If you don't have to kill an elite, try to keep them around until the boss comes, because before the boss battles all the enemies, die and elite with them; the boxes they drop will give you an advantage in the boss battles, and you don't have to worry about killing them. 

 

And when you kill the boss, don't pick up the golden box as fast as it drops. Give it a few seconds; because the wall that dissolves when the boss kills adds up to the box bonuses. It will give you a unique ability similar to the wheel of death we discussed at the beginning of this guide. But the wheel of death and some capabilities comes from EVO.

 

One thing you have to know is what EVO is. When you choose abilities, you will sometimes see an ability with "EVO" at the bottom of that card. You will have to pick it up and then pick the ability shown in the EVO next. This will give you a more advanced skill that is better than green abilities. Picking Up Abilities

 

When you pick up abilities, if you get Molotov, try to pick it up and level it up every chance you get; also, something you should pick up if you use Molotov is damage over time ability; this will help the Molotov you throw to stay longer. Fire doesn't damage you when you use them, so you can walk through them to avoid getting overrun by zombies. 

 

 

This especially comes in handy at the end of the first chapter, where killing zombies damages you; using this, you can stay in the circle of fire while zombies get annihilated by it and your projectiles.

 

And when you pick up abilities, you have to pick the one that helps you overcome the weaknesses of your weapon; for example, if you have a single target weapon, try to pick up AOE ability first and vice versa. 

 

Equipment Management

 

When you play through Survivor.io, you will get equipment, items that go left of your character give you attack bones, and things that go left will provide you with health. When you get gear, don't be afraid to upgrade them because you can get every gold and upgrade material you spent on them back using the salvage option; once you get better items, salvage the old ones and invest them all into the new equipment.

 

 

When upgrading your equipment, try to upgrade the equipment that gives attack bonuses first. While upgrading your equipment, if you run out of money to upgrade your attack gear, recycle the one that offers health and upgrade the attack ones because every bit of damage you can get matters in Survivor.io more than health.

 

Economy Tips

 

When opening creates, don't spend 80 gems on army crates; try to save up 300 and open the Survivor.io EDF supplies because it gives better items for value and there is an event going on that gives you S-grade equipment after 50 creates openings. 

 

 

It may feel like a lot, but there is another chance for you to win excellent equipment for every ten boxes, so when you get to 50 boxes, you will have four excellent pieces of equipment. Another thing you can do if you are good at saving gems is to try to pull the one that gives you ten items at once. This will saves you around 300 gems than opening the EDF supplies.

 

If you are a free-to-play Survivor.io player, you must watch advertisements; this is an excellent way of earning gems, energy and gold. If you play Survivor.io with LDPlayer 9, this will be more bearable because, in that 30 seconds, you can do anything else on your computer.

 

Another nice way of earning gems is to follow along with the server launch challenge; here, you have some easy tasks to complete. To unlock it, however, you have to complete the first chapter.

 

Don't forget to do your trials; they are a great way of getting gems and key evolutions. The key evolutions you earn through them can be used to unlock special abilities of your talent tree; for example, the seeker ability helps you to get equipment by killing zombies. The good part of these challenges is they don't consume energy so once you run out and use all the advertisements to fill up energy, try doing these.
