With 1 full year of operation under its belt with many exciting events filled with amazing and engaging contents, NU:Carnival is about to celebrate its first ever anniversary event with brand new contents, new teaser, up to 50 PULLS FOR FREE, brand new introduction of brand new characters and the banner of one of the most powerful and anticipated characters in the game - the master himself - Galactic Mist Eiden.

NU:Carnival 1st Anniversary Celebration Events

With the 1st anniversary event fast approaching, NU:Carnival is holding both on-going and brand new upcoming events to celebrate the occasions, both to give players the ability to accumulate currencies for new characters in addition to teasing brand new things to come with the 1st anniversary.

Sorcerer’s Trial Season 5

On going as one of the most challenging contents in the game since its conception, the Sorcerer’s Trial is one of the most difficult but rewarding event in NU:Carnival, granting players a variety of rewards and contents for players to challenge themselves with and be rewarded with after they have built their teams as much as possible.

In essence, Sorcerer’s Trial is provides players with a good amount of challenge and require players to really build their teams and understand the stages’ mechanics in order to clear and obtain the most amount of stars from these stages, therefore, players should be sure to build up a variety of characters and teams in order to obtain the most amount of rewards from this.

Lost Relics

Lost Relics is another important event that players should attempt to challenge once they have build up their team enough, ideally with at least 2 different teams in order to successfully farm these sequence of stages, allowing players to obtain some of the msot exclusive and important character upgrading materials that they will need in order to upgrade characters to their max potential.

Lost Relic stages are divided into 7 different stages, with each stage containing 2 battles that require 2 different teams to clear, making it extremely important that players have at least 2 well built teams in order to clear these stages. Completing these stages and obtaining stars will reward players with free summon scrolls, character materials select boxes and a potential crystal that is necessary to unlock characters’ passive skills.

Free Member Clans Summons

To celebrate the 1st anniversary, NU:carnival is rewarding players with up to 50 free pulls from the standard banner called Member Clans recruitment. From the 23rd of February to the 23rd of March, players when logged into the game will be able to make up to 10 free summons per day on the standard banner, up to a total of 50 FREE PULLS.

 

It is important to note that the SSR pity for banners is 100 pulls per SSR, meaning with this campaign, players will be able to go halfway to obtaining an SSR character for essentially free, therefore, players should absolutely pay attention and use these free pulls to their advantage and obtain useful new characters.

 

In addition, the standard banner only contains the standard characters’ pools, therefore, it is important that players try and aim for the ones from the standard pool characters only and don’t expect event-exclusive characters.

Brand New Event - Forest Carnival 2023

The special 1st anniversary also brings with it the special Valentine/White Day exclusive event teaser of this year - the Forest Carnival 2023 event, featuring 2 brand new versions of beloved characters - Edmond and Yakumo.

Little is known about this event for now, hoeveer, we will go over the details of the event and guide players on this event once the event has started, so look forward to the guide in the very near future regarding this topic. 

Brand New Character and Brand New Story Chapter Teaser

Along with the slew of contents to celebrate NU:Carnival’s 1st anniversary, a special exclusive concert show was available for a short period of time for special on-stage guests and online tickets, providing a special one of a kind performance including brand new character dialogues, brand new event scenarios, exclusive live concert music performances, one of a kind stage play with the actual voice actors of the game.

Mixed in with all of this however, is an exclusive secret announcement pertaining to the future contents for NU:Carnival’s 1st anniversary, including several big news. The first of which is the introduction of a brand new main story chapter - Chapter 11 and the tease of a brand new character with stylist looks.

As of writing this article, we don’t yet know what the new character will look like and when will he and chapter 11 of the main story will be released. However, please be ensured that we will cover the news right away once the details have been revealed.

Brand New Character - Should You Pull

In celebration of the 1st anniversary, NU:Carnival have released one of the most vital characters in the game’s story and one of the most anticipated characters in the game - the master of lust himself - Eiden in the form of the SSR character Galactic Mist Eiden.

Galactic Mist Eiden

Galactic Mist Eiden is the first and currently only playable character version of Eiden - the main character himself. An SSR Support Class character, Eiden’s power lies in his ability to compel other characters to fight by buffing their attacking power in addition to protecting them and allowing them to do their special skills more quickly.

Eiden’s normal attacks provide the team with an attack buff, granting them up to 30% extra more attack to deal extra damage to the enemies. This allows him to buff the entire team’s damage potential and help improve the healing abilities of healers in the team, ensuring the team will be able to dish out heavy damage while still staying relatively unharmed.

 

Eiden’s true strength comes in the form of his ultimate skill, which not only grants a big 5 turns 25% attack buff to all allies except himself, it also reduce the damage taken by all teammates by 5% for 5 turns and reduce all allies’ ultimate skill cooldown by 1, essentially not only grants them a huge attack buff but also help improve their survivability and help them dish out more damage using ultimate skills. The perfect ultimate skill for the perfect buffer.

Should You Roll

Absolutely Yes. While Eiden is a permanent SSR in the standard character pool, he is one of, if not, the strongest buffer in NU:Carnival at the time of writing. Not only does he do a fantastic job as a damage buffer, he is extremely versatile and provides utility necessary for any team in the game, making him a valuable asset to have in any account
