What is Memento Mori?

Memento Mori is a newly released AFK-RPG with great Music, fantastic 2D Artwork with Hand-made looking graphics. The game itself resembles a Visual Novel, with nice story telling for any character in the game. The game features an AFK gameplay, where you only have to develop your characters by leveling them and equipping them with the best gear. The Battles are all autos, and also you can skip them entirely to the result, or enjoy the great 2D Animation & Voice Acting (English Or Japanese) during the fights. The game looks very relaxing, let you only spend some time during the day to keep leveling your units and do boss fights. Despite being an AFK Game, there’s some game mode such as “Trials” where you require some strategy for completing the content, choosing good comp, good character synergy and the right buffs/powerup etc. 

 

Game Content

Main Quest

 

The “Main Quest” is your first and most used content in Memento Mori. Since this game is an AFK RPG, you will only complete Boss Battle once, unlocking more rewards to claim every hour. After you complete some chapters, you will unlock other content in the game.

 

Cave of Space-Time

 

The “Cave of Space-Time” is the first content unlocked in Memento Mori. In this game mode you have to navigate different stages and try to reach the end of this labyrinth. In Cave of Space Time you can use any of your character, but after every battle your team isn’t healed to full, so you must be sure to not lose a unit during a battle. There’s a lot of ways to survive more encounters and become stronger in this game mode, since you will gather a lot of buffs while you explore it. Even if at first the battle can seem harder, with Healing, Damage, Defense and offensive buffs you gather you’ll reach a much higher Battle Point. This content is reset everyday so complete it for collecting rewards!

 

Tower of Infinity

 

The “Tower of Infinity” is a content with different floors to fight, that gives you a very good gear for starting, and also a lot of resources such as Gold, Exp, Characters Summoning Shards etc. Every Time you fight a new floor for the first time, you will get fixed rewards. Once you reach a floor you can’t beat, you can challenge the highest floor you have unlocked 3 times x day for getting rewards.

 

Fountain of Prayers

 

The “Fountain of Prayers” is the “Expedition” content in Memento Mori. You can complete an expedition each day for different rewards. Sometimes also “Guerrilla” quests will appear, with bonus rewards. Complete Expedition everyday to increase the Fountain of Prayers Level.

 

Characters & Equipment

Characters

 

In Memento Mori every character can be improved to a maximum of SSR+/LR Grade. Starting character rarity is N, R or SR. Every character also has 2/3/4 Skills (based on Character base rarity) and they can also be leveled while increasing Character Level. Here’s the best info for characters:

 

Rarity

• Every Character in Memento Mori starts with a base Rarity. N-Grade units have 2 Skills and can’t be improved to better Rarity. R-Grade units have 3 Skills and they can reach the maximum rarity of SSR+ with duplicates. SR-Grade units have 4 Skills and they can reach the maximum rarity of LR with duplicates. Everytime your character reaches a new rarity, they will also get a passive stats boost. For increasing the Character Rarity (Awakening) you are required multiple character of the same Rarity and same Soul Type (Ex: an R grade Character require 2 R Grade character of the same Soul Type for reach the R+ Grade)

 

Level Up

• The Level up feature lets you increase the level of your characters, and after you reach a determinate level (Ex: 41) you will also increase the levels of the character skills, adding new effects and/or improving damage. For increasing the character levels you need Gold and Exp Orb, and for increasing also the Skill levels you also need Kindling Orb.

 

Reset

• If the character you have invested resources in is no longer needed in your roster, you can use the “Reset” feature to completely reset the Characters Level and regain any resources invested in it.

 

Equipment

 

The Equipment in Memento Mori can be obtained in different ways, like Main Quest, Tower of Infinity, shop etc. There’s a total of 6 Piece of gear, Weapon, Helmet, Earrings, Chest, Gloves and Shoes. Each piece has a rarity, from N to LR Grade. Based on Rarity, each piece of gear can have from 1 to 4 bonus sub stats. Gear can also be improved with different option:

 

Upgrade 

• After you complete Chapter 3-20, you will unlock Upgrade. Upgrading equipment cost Golds and later Upgrade Water. An equipment max level upgrade is the same as the  max equipment level itself.

 

Runes

• Later on, you will also be able to affix Runes on your gear. Based on the runes, you can improve HP, DEF, ATK etc. of every piece of gear you equip

 

Gacha Rates

Prayer of The Cursed

 

The “Prayer of The Cursed” in Memento Mori is the Normal Banner of the game. You can obtain new characters from N to SR grade. You can also choose 5 characters for every Soul  (Azure, Crimson, Emerald, Amber) excluding (Radiance and Chaos Souls) for an increased chance of getting those characters. Everytime you pull in Prayer of the Cursed/Fleeting/Souls Banner, you will receive Mileage Points, with rewards based on the total pull count. Here’s the rates:

 

Characters

• SR Grade = 4.46% | 100% (every x10 Pull)
• R Grade = 43.77%
• N Grade = 51.77%

 

Pity

• Every x10 pull you get 1 random SR Character from your wish list

 

Mileage

• 100 Pull Mileage = 1 Random Character of choosed Soul Type
• 200 Pull Mileage = 1 Random Character of choosed Soul Type 
• 300 Pull Mileage = 1 Character of your choice.

 

Prayer of Beginnings

 

The “Prayer of Beginnings” in Memento Mori is a Promotional Banner only available for 7 days after starting playing the game. You can obtain new characters from N to SR grade. You can also choose 5 characters for every Soul  (Azure, Crimson, Emerald, Amber) excluding (Radiance and Chaos Souls) for an increased chance of getting those characters. You can only use “Ticket of Beginnings” (available on the shop for real money packs) to pull in this banner. Here’s the rates:

Prayer of Friendship

Prayer of Souls

 

The “Prayer of Souls” in Memento Mori is a Rotating Banner that changes the Soul Type in it every 24 Hours (Azure -> Crimson -> Emerald -> Amber -> Azure Etc.) In this banner, you can only obtain Soul Characters according to the day. (Ex: When it’s Emerald day, you can only obtain Emerald Characters). You can get new Characters from N Grade to SR Grade. You can also choose 5 characters for every Soul  (Azure, Crimson, Emerald, Amber) excluding (Radiance and Chaos Souls) for an increased chance of getting those characters during the dedicated day. Everytime you pull in Prayer of the Cursed/Fleeting/Souls Banner, you will receive Mileage Points, with rewards based on the total pull count. Here’s the rates:
