I could not use it. When I press the mic icon, the wheel turns forever, and when I press something else to see if I can get out of it, it crashes. I tried this a few times. Also, when I press on the settings icon, the app crashes too. Good concept, I heard good things, but did not work at all for me. Edit (23.08.16): support team gave me a temporary fix until next update. The app is great so far.
The idea is good. But the app doesn't work as they show in the ads. The login and signup process has bugs. I got signed up after trying five times. Then when I tried the tarteel, it keeps losing my mic. Also the tarteel detection is extremely slow. When I am on 5th Ayah, it detects the first ayah and then looses connection to the mic. It's not that I am using a lower end phone. I am on Samsung S21 Plus, which has good specs to handle an app like this. It needs a lot of improvements.
Feature request 1) Ability to add 'mistake' in (both old and new) sessions. 2) Ability to repeat from back while reciting (repeating from previous verses is perceived as a mistake by the app). 3) nazera mode: repeating a mistake correctly removes the mistake. (This will tremendously help beginners, especially non-arabs whose pronunciation is naturally different). 4) Manually highlight words using different colours; this also fulfils num1 as well. This has to be done quickly.
