Love it. I'm learning Swedish in evening school and use SVT Play quite often to watch documentaries, children's tv, the news, etc. to increase my knowledge :).
The function of the app is very problematic compared to the competition. Examples: *When (chrome-)casting a live stream, you cannot move backwards to already played content. *When buffering you cannot se how far you have watched on a programme. When the stream then crashes and forgets where you were, which happens frequently, you have to guess. *Extremely poor performance on slow connections. On YouTube I can watch multiple videos in the time it takes for SVT to display available ones.
You pause the video, and switch apps or lock the phone. Then it just randomly starts playing in the background, with the audio audible. It might randomly start playing again in your pocket, or when you unlock your phone and use some other app. It's been like that for years, really terrible for an otherwise great app. This is the same on an Samsung Galaxy S9, S8 and my daughters Motorola something android phone
