It does boost your sound, potentially too much, but if you are having trouble hearing a video you recorded on your phone, this will help. BUT it does not edit the sound. Which is what I really wanted, so I could share my video and the person viewing it would not have to download an app to hear it.
Awesome app. Coupled with the inbuilt equalizer, I can finetune to my preference.There's no distortion even at higher volume settings. Others that I've tested always produce a slight crackling distortion intermittently. I'm using only 20% amplification & the results are astounding.. 😎 Using it on my other devices shows similar results -very loud & clear sounds. One caveat - auto start on device reboot toggles off the app's service. Slight annoyance ! Kudos to development team. 💘
The app works as it says it does. You can watch a video with low sounding audio by just starting the app and setting it to your specification & watch it do its magic in the background. Never knew it would work. The app developers are great.
