1. I'd like to see an easier navigational system. 2. The words of Jesus in my opinion should be in red. 3. This is the only audio Bible I have but if you don't finish the whole chapter and close the app, when you come back later you have to start from the beginning again, this could be corrected making it much user friendly and convenient. 4. If these simple bugs could be worked out I'd give it a 5 star rating.
I am a lady in my 50's and was wanting a way to listen to the Bible when I can't sleep at night. I like this app because it stops at the end of the chapter and doesn't go on indefinitely. Another feature I like is the male voice. I tried several others and the voices were either female or horribly nasal sounding! I also like being able to move the audio forward or backward manually while the person is reading. I have not used it long enough to know about the ads. So far so good.
I have three KJV apps: one is an audio version read by that masterful voice Alexander Scourby; the second is a book app which has an excellent layout. However, you have to swipe through every page to get to a verse within a chapter; so, I use this one occasionally because of the former's inaccessibility. Needless to say it has a clear, readable layout with zoom-in, night-mode and font choice functions which is always nice. The audio is also pretty good, just little to ponderous in places.
