I had to give up on this app. It makes big claims, but falls short. Yes, you can eat points by listening to music, reading news articles, and charging your phone BUT it's all through the app. You can't listen to your music, or look up articles that interest you. It's their music, their news selection. And the charging... It keeps your screen on and just shows ads, so it's actually slowing down your phones charging. Better rewards app are out there.
I've been using Mode App and some of its variants for nearly 2 years and overall I'm happy with the results! In fairness, I have expressed displeasure with one feature that is still unresolved with a response suggesting it is being looked at. The "flaw" I oppose is when the Mode app changes the radio station I listen to most to that of a specific other station that I choose not to listen to because I am not a fan of that style of music, and yet they still keep changing my station. Boo.
I just started using this app and so far it seems great and it seems to be better and different from all the other rewards apps I tried out. The only issue I have is I don't like how it picks what I want to do for me.. for instance I opened the app and it started playing some random song that wouldn't stop playing after I exited the app. If I want to listen to music or play a game I'll go to it myself.
