App is easy to use for booking, viewing, and managing trips but it is NOT complete replacement for desktop website. It would be a big improvement, for example, if companion fares or wallet funds could be applied to new travel via the app but the app is well worth having just for easy access to paperless boarding pass. More importantly the airline is great to work with as well. Almost always great service and when if something does go wrong they are very good at making things right again.
It's ok, seems to work as designed. I do however wish it was easier to navigate. Can get time consuming as well as a bit aggravating booking tickets using mileage account, finding best deals and promotions, flights ect. Could be me as a new user. I hope as I learn the app maybe it will be much easier...... I'll keep my progress posted. Regardless I have always enjoyed flying Alaska and if given the choice they are my preferred airline .Thanks
This app made me enter a lot of personal information to check in and pay with credit card for a checked bag. Then when I tried to submit the payment, it didn't work, and came back with a connection error. I tried again, and got the same error. Finally I had to go to an attendant at the airport, who ended up having to text me my boarding pass. In short, this app wasted my time, didn't work, and gathered a bunch of my personal data.
