The pervasive ads on the speed dial page (both the banner on top and random websites it ads to my speed dial) are irritating and antithetical to the point of the browser. I'm also so effing sick of AI being forced into everything, no I don't want to use your AI service, let me turn it off. Additionally, the latest update is buggy; the text size option is inconsistent and makes some text huge and other part tiny. Also trying to open the three dot menu and sometimes tab page crash the app.
I have used this browser for a few years. It was the one left that had great speed dial customization. So, why the 1 star review? Very simple. The developers have decided to add a recurring ad banner at the top of the speed dial page. The developers claim you can close the ad with the X. This is their solution, however the ad comes right back after a short time. Not only is this ad intrusive, it moves my speed dials down. My speed dials are placed for a reason. I don't need them moving.
Have used this app for years, but it is really going downhill fast. It's supposed to be ad blocking, but now constantly puts a walmart ad on the start page! Sure you can tap the x to remove it, but it comes right back the next time you open the app! Yesterday it updated again, and today will no longer work! Why do you have to ruin what was a good browser app!!!! I'm switching back to Firefox for now.
