CurlKing™ is a unique scientifically proven football training device designed to improve a football player’s ball curling technique. The CurlKing™ device provokes and amplifies the senses, triggering muscle memory to induce accelerated learning. How it works
CurlKing™ mimics the inflight curving ball, by spinning the ball up to 600rpm. Players sense the rotation as their foot meets the ball and the body muscles recognize the need to adjust after each kick, creating the needed spin. Over time, by reducing the spin speed on the ball from 600rpm down to 120rpm how to create the curl is learnt.
The CurlKing™ can spin in both directions, allowing training on both feet and inside or outside of the foot. There are 5 speed settings up to 600 RPM. Training starts with the fastest speed which is reduced as the football player adjusts to create the spin on the ball himself, which ensures the curved trajectory of the ball.
