Keeps stopping at random times! I drive for a living and love to listen to audio books while driving. After the last update, the app started stopping randomly, which makes it hard to listen to responsibly (and safely)! I have been thinking of going with another audio book player, especially if it can play my current titles! Amazon, please fix it!
I've been using Audible for years, and the app is getting so much worse than it used to be. The Google Maps integration is worse than ever, and it frequently crashes if the Audible app isn't the active thing on screen. I can't even just turn off the screen because the app crashes then, too! What's the point in listening to an audiobook when I can't put my phone in my pocket or have to leave the screen on and drain the battery? Even Spotfiy's issues are head and shoulders above this right now.
Sometimes, randomly audible will close. Usually, it happens when there is a pending update, and so while listening, the app just closes. It can be dangerous. Most of us listen to audible while driving, and when the app closes, you have to pick up your phone, turn it on, locate the app, and restart it. Essentially, this feature is encouraging the same bad habit as texting and driving. Once updating,it no longer does this. If this is a intended feature it needs to change because it's dangerous
