The Accessible Solitaire game for Android is an exploration into building the most accessible solitaire game possible for Android phones. The game can always be made more accessible, so please provide feedback to let me know how I should prioritise its accessibility improvements.Today the game provides a number of features to make the contents of the cards easier to see. These include having two separate zoomable areas, a gesture to have a card shown in a fullscreen popup, and an option to have cards show a large suit symbol and large rank letter rather than the traditional collection of small suit symbols.
The Android TalkBack screen reader can access all cards shown in the game and will announce the contents of the cards. TalkBack will often make an announcement when a card is moved in the game.
The game also supports the Android Dark Mode setting for players who prefer light-on-dark colours rather than dark-on-light colours.
