If we refer to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), then we will find the definition of a credit card as follows:

"A small card issued by a bank that guarantees the holder to be able to shop without paying in cash and the spending will be calculated in the card owner's account at the bank."

or what in English is called a Credit Card has the definition:

"a small plastic card that can be used as a method of payment, the money being taken from you at a later time."

"A small card (made of) plastic (or the like) that can be used as a payment method, where the (bill) money will be taken (held) to you later."

Later by Middle Eastern economic actors, this credit card is referred to as Bithaqah al-'Itiman. However, according to Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Abu Sulaiman in his book which he wrote as a study material in the Xth conference of Islamic jurisprudence which was held in Jeddah that the term Bithaqah al-'Itiman which has been used by those middle eastern economic actors is not quite right.
