A lot of different elements and aspects need to be taken into consideration when we're playing lost centuria. While the game is heavily dependent on your monsters and their skills, you can't just leave them there to fight. You really need to know exactly when and how to tactically defeat your opponent, which makes the game more fun and exciting.

Today we'll be walking you through and guiding you with one of the significant aspects of the games – your deck. It is essential to know what tiers are, how you can use them, and the different kinds of decks out there. If you want to know how to come out victorious from every battle with your enemies, this is the perfect guide for you.

Overview:

To make decks, of course, you first need your monsters. There are several different ways in which you can obtain monsters in the game. You can bring them through quests and missions, summon them, and even get them from the shop at times. These monsters also make use of specific runes that amplify their abilities in different ways; you also need to know how to use runes with various monsters.

Sometimes you may get cards that you already have, but that is not an issue! You can simply use the duplicate card that you have to level up the monster that’s previously with you – isn’t that cool?

Before building a deck, you need to decide on the core monster that you will use for your strategy. Core monsters depend on your playstyle and personal preferences, as there are many different options inside the game. You could use lushen, Baretta, Rakan, etc.

Each core monster has its own unique set of benefits. Some monsters focus on dealing damage to the front-liners consistently. Other monsters concentrate on healing the team. Their heals and abilities often scale with their max HP as well. On the other hand, you also have monsters and units that apply effects, buffs, and debuffs on either your side or the enemy side.

With such a wide variety of monsters and different playstyles, it may become confusing for some players as to how they can effectively make their own deck. At times, it may be a trial-and-error method. However, we can save you the error part and get you straight into the topic by telling you the different decks that you can use to excel in the game.

The basics:

Before you start building your deck, it's essential to know the different types of monsters in the game; we've discussed some of the above briefly. Let's divide them into distinct categories so you can understand much better and have a go at it yourself later on.

First, you have attack-type monsters that are damage dealers. These are the monsters that you will need to rely on for your DPS. Secondly, you have defense-type monsters that can protect your team from damage and effects from the opposing side – as their name makes it clear, they play a very defensive role.

Thirdly, the support-type monsters typically create synergy between the attack and defense-type monsters – they ensure that the team is functioning cohesively in the best way possible. Lastly, but most certainly not the least, you have HP defense-type monsters, which are very tanky and are incredibly hard to take down.

Summoners War: Lost Centuria Comprehensive Deck Guide

The most basic understanding you need to develop first is that you are limited by the number of monsters you can take in a deck. The maximum number of monsters that can be present in one deck at a given time is eight. This essentially means that you need to carefully select the types and monsters that will be in your deck.

It is very crucial to make sure that the overall deck composition is very balanced. If you have too many attack-type monsters, you will definitely do a lot of damage over time to the opposing side – however, you will fare poorly in terms of defense. The enemy can exploit that weakness and make sure you lose the battle.

The same principle, interestingly, applies to any other type. If you go with a monotonous set of monsters into a game, you might see in time that they won't perform as well as they will be outplayed and outpowered by the other team that probably has a more balanced composition than yours.

This is called synergy. You need to select monsters that complement each other well in the battles; we'll show you some detailed examples soon. By selecting monsters that can work this way, you increase your chances of winning a fight. So, if a monster can provide healing buffs to your allies, it means that your frontline runners can go on for much longer and deal more damage to the enemy.

Lushen, for example, has an attack power buff that works fantastic with Baretta and train. These three are a good matchup and pair with each other well. Thrain has a really lovely stun, whereas Baretta deals continuous damage to the enemy players over time. While these monsters attack, the HP-type monsters in the roster will keep this formation in shape to ensure that you're ahead of the enemy team.

Chloe, for example, can protect all allies with her invincible ability. Elucia, on the other hand, heals the weakest ally. Isn't that phenomenal? In this lineup, you can also use Ramagos to absorb the attacks of the enemies alongside Mav. Ramagos’s power increases as his health decreases, making him stronger as he spends more time on the frontline.

There are many different strategies, such as this, that can be adopted to ensure that your deck always comes out on top. You just need to pay very close attention to some of the details, such as the characters' abilities, what runes you're using, and how well the synergy is between different monsters in your deck.

The placement of the monsters that you choose is another thing that needs to be taken into consideration. You have to pick a form that is well adapted to the monsters that you have selected and the meta of the game. You might be well aware at this point that most of the damage that is dealt with is done so at the frontlines. Therefore, it would make sense to put up a stronger monster with higher HP and defense at the frontlines to absorb that damage. Your backline, on the other hand, is incredibly important for you to maintain since it is the primary source of dealing damage to the other side. These backline monsters are usually attacking type and deal consistent damage to the enemy players of the other team—their different roles in supporting the frontline monsters.

One more thing you need to know so that you can make better decks is about the attributes of the monsters. Monsters can have one of five attributes: Fire, Air, Water, Light, and Dark. It is essential to consider this as well, as it is very important for a proper and diverse deck. Some elemental attributes cut each other out – such as fire and water. You cannot solely depend on the monster statistics to make decisions when deciding your deck, as you need to consider this as well. Attribute relation can allow you to be either more resistant to damage or take more damage and vice versa for your opponent.

The AoE buffer deck:

This is an exciting and powerful deck. It can help you climb as it is a well-balanced deck that can dish out a good amount of damage. So, let's go over it.

The primary task in this deck is Ramagos. The secondary tank is Lapis. Alongside her, we also have Bernard. Last but not least, we have Meagan. These four monsters constitute the frontline of this deck. Of course, as we briefly mentioned earlier, the frontline is the part of the deck that will tank most of the damage from the enemy side, which is why it becomes really important that we put tankier heroes such as Ramagos in this position.

In the backline, you're going to want to put Lushen, Chloe, Nicki, as well as Sophia. With this, you have your backline composition filled in as well, and you have your AoE buffer deck ready to go. The core component in this consists of Chloe, Nicki, Bernard, Meagan, and Lapis. You really should not switch these out for other monsters as it might make the deck somewhat unstable.

Ramagos, for example, can be switched out for a better tank such as Poseidon if you want to or even Kuhn. Any other tank can take this role, as long as you ensure that the replacement is also a primary tank. This means that the monster can soak up a lot of damage. Sophia can also be replaced as long as you have another single-target damage dealer that can also provide large amounts of damage. Doing this will be perfectly fine and won't mainly mess with the composition mentioned above. An example of her replacement would be Kahli, as she is only three costs but is a heavy single-target damage nuker.

Lushen can also be replaced in this composition. If you have the skilled stone, which reduces him down to five costs, then you're good to go as he is an excellent option. However, Lushen is typically at six costs, which makes him very taxing in the battle. You could use Tesarion instead in case you don’t have the skill-stone for Lushen. Just make sure that whoever you replace with Lushen has AoE abilities, as, without this, you make the deck's composition ineffective.

Let's come to the spells now. Spells are another essential aspect of decks, as they can save you in many narrow situations. They provide significant benefits in a fight. First up for the spells in this deck, you have the transfer spell. Some effects and damage over time abilities can be very pesky. They can make it harder for your monsters to perform effectively and drain them of their HP. It becomes crucial, then, to transfer these effects right back onto the enemy deck to protect yourself and reverse the cards. This spell can save you in many different situations and should be part of your deck for sure.

Next up, we have the blood curtain spell. This spell sacrifices a little bit of your HP but, in return, grants you an enormous protective shield that protects you from incoming attacks. This helps you if continuous damage decks or an AoE nuker from the other side becomes really annoying and starts shredding some monsters on your team. You’d want to do your best to shield your monsters from some of that continuous damage and protect them by using the blood curtain spell.

For your third and last spell, your best bet is with the cleansing spell. The cleanse spell is impressive as it cleanses you of all crowd control effects. This is wonderful if your monsters are being targeted via crowd control effects, rendering them dysfunctional. Cleanse does a simple job of removing those effects and putting you back on track.

With this, you now know the core formation of the AoE buffer deck and the spells that you should pair up with this formation. Using this deck can do wonders for you in battle just as long as you are using the abilities appropriately and are aware of the merits of the different monsters in the game to a certain extent. This is actually just one example of the many kinds of decks that you can try in the game.

AoE Healing and Lapis deck:

The formation for this deck is also quite interesting. Of course, as your main tank, you have Ramagos. You also have Chloe and Max. This makes up your frontline monsters for this composition. On your backline, you have Eleanor with Sophia. Furthermore, you have Fynn, and of course, Lapis. With that, your formation for this deck is more or less complete.

A quite important thing to mention and take note of here is that for this particular deck, you need to ensure that the Lapis you have has the purple skill stone as it is critical for the functioning of this deck later on. The goal of this composition is to provide a lot of healing. As you level up in the game over time by winning battles, you will experience a lot of AoE damage decks that can shred down many of your monsters.

It becomes imperative then, as you may have noted, to make sure that you have an ample amount of healing present in your deck to counter that damage and improve the overall survivability of the deck. Without the healing aspect of this deck, the enemy player will try to get to your Lapis before she can reach the late game stage and can do a decent amount of damage. So, the best way you can counter that is by using AoE heals on your end and ensure that you make it far enough to shred your opponents.

Of course, Ramagos has healing in the game, which is why he is an essential part of this deck. If you have the purple stone on Mav, you can proc his healing every time he switches positions. This applies to two continuous recoveries, which is a fantastic utility for the team and your deck.

You also have Colleen, who has an insane amount of healing and is another significant part of this deck in terms of that. In the backline, you have Eleanor, and her many duties in this composition are cleansing and healing. On the other hand, Fynn is primarily in this deck as he is a great single-target damage dealer who can provide a lot of damage for the deck and do wonders in battle. Sophia is another damage dealer, and she gives AoE damage that you can make use of in your battles.

It is important to note that in this deck, it is still vital that you keep the cleansing spell as one of your three spells in the game. As you proceed to rank up in the game, you will notice that the enemy teams begin to use a lot of annoying effects, buffs, and debuffs, and it becomes critical in many situations to be able to cleanse yourself of them. Another thing you want to keep as your spell is the HP transfer spell, as you will want to use it for your frontline monsters. You absolutely need your frontline to be tanky and cannot afford to let them die. This is why the HP transfer comes in handy in case something goes downhill and you need to use it to clutch the game.

Now, what runes should you be using for the heroes in this composition? For Ramagos, it is recommended for you to run triple energy runes. For Colleen, you should run energy runes as well as the recovery ability scales with her max HP. For Eleanor, the same principle applies, so you should most certainly go for energy runes on her as well. For Fynn, you should consider using a blade to get his crit rate on 70%, which can be outstanding in battles. For Sophia, you should also be using the blade rune stone. You may consider running Sophia on fatal, which is perfectly fine; however, you still recommend that you use the blade on her as it provides for some more benefits in many situations in different battles you will encounter. Of course, Lapis is going to be running fatal due to the high base damage stats.

This information will now allow you to try this deck out in the game. However, you do need to keep in mind that this may be a late-game deck that you might need to use as you level up later on in the game. Earlier on, you may not have the purple stone on Mac and Lapis. This has quite a significant impact on the way that this deck functions; therefore, you should try other compositions if you do not have the purple stone on these two monsters.

If you use this deck smartly by adequately timing the abilities and understanding when to proc your spells, you can easily win several games and boost yourself. Of course, this will take a little bit of practice and time as you need to develop a complete game since that will allow you to effectively use all the variables in the battle to your advantage.

Lushen deck:

Let's get straight into this fantastic deck. You will have already guessed, if you have played the game recently, by this point that your main tank monster is going to be Ramagos – and of course, he is. Next in the frontline, you have Bernard for acceleration. For acceleration, you are also going to use Meagan in the frontline. The last monster in the frontline is Kamiya.

In the backline, you are going to have Shannon, as she can provide two stacks of the attack buff. She is cheap and also provides you with the attack buff that you need. Chaining her with Meagan gives you the perfect amount of three stacks for Lushen. You then have Camille, who is an important part of this deck. Next up, you have Orion in the backline, which is very important for slowing down the DPS of the enemy side and is really good for 1v1 and 1v2's. Of course, you also have a Lushen to complete the backline. With this, you have two half-decks complete for this Lushen deck.

For the spells, you should go for divine protection. Instead of only providing security for your front deck, it gives it to the whole team. This can allow you to save your Lushen in case it becomes necessary, as he is the most critical damage dealer on the deck. The other spell you will have is the giant warrior spell and the reckless devotion spell.

Now let’s go over the runes. For Ramagos, you should run energy runes as always. For Meagan, you should run swift runes as they provide for faster acceleration. The same thing for Bernard, so swift runes it is for him as well! For Konamiya and Shannon, you should also opt for swift runes. As you can notice, many supportive monsters are using the speedy rune in this deck. On your Lushen, you should, of course, run the fatal rune on him. On Orion, you can use the Focus rune. Some people prefer to run a terminal as well, which can work as well. Fatal does increase his damage by quite a bit and can be helpful to you in many circumstances.

The fundamental strategy here is that you want to buff up your Lushen with a triple attack stack, and you add Camille in for that crit rate. If you get a chance, then you want to use Orion to cycle his DPS properly.

The Lushen deck is another example of a well-made deck that can make your game experience much smoother as you have a far more cohesive deck and productively works together to make sure you win the game. You can try using this deck and see an instant improvement in your win rates compared to other tiers that may not be as balanced.
