Punishing Gray Raven - The Last Spark Update

Punishing Gray Raven’s brand new The Last Spark update can be divided into 3 different sections - the Extra Story Chapter, the New Characters Interludes and special challenge and farming stages in addition to an event shop

Extra Story Chapter

Available from this update onwards, the newly introduced Extra Story Chapter - The Last Spark allows players to go through the events leading up to the introduction and subsequent joining of Vera: Garnet into the Gray Raven squad. Go through the extra story chapter and obtain many valuable materials for character upgrading and special currencies for gacha in the game.

There are 2 difficulties for the Extra story chapter - Normal and Hidden with the Hidden difficulty requiring players to invest heavily into their characters so be sure to be prepared for this challenge.

New Characters Interludes Chapters

During the Update duration, a new character interludes chapter will be available for all players that are lv 40 and above and have access to character interludes.

Clearing these character interludes provides players with extra background information for the new character introduced during this Update - Vera: Garnet. In addition, playing the interlude chapters allow players to playtest the new characters of this update, allowing them to have a better understanding of their playstyles and help decide if you should roll for the new characters.

Clearing these Character Interlude Chapters also reward players with a lot of gacha currencies, so make sure to clear them while they are available during this Update since once this Update has

passed, you will need to own the characters to access these Interlude Chapters again.

Special Event Farming Stages

In addition to brand new permanent contents added into the game like the story chapter and the character interludes, we also receive Event Specific Farming Stages that only last during the Update period and will be gone forever after the update has ended.

Farming these stages will reward players with special currencies that they can then use to exchange for various rewards from the Event Shop such as EXP pods, Cogs, Brand New Set of Memories and special event exclusive items.

Special Event Shop

Farming the Special Event stages will reward players with special currencies that they can then use to exchange for various rewards from the Event Shop such as EXP pods, Cogs, Memories.

Players should prioritize getting the event exclusive 6* Memories for Vera: Garnet from the event shop first and foremost as they cost a large amount of event currencies. Once players have exchanged for all of the shards, players then can priorities other upgrading materials such as EXP, Cogs Boxes, 6* Memories, etc.

It is also important to note that special Memories that suit Vera: Garnet combat prowess will be discounted during the event’s period as well, so players should exchange 1 set of that special memories set in order to boost her combat capabilities.

Limited Time Banner - Vera: Garnet, Summer Endless Blue and A Rank CUB SeeShell

The highlight of the patch is the specially available banners for the new characters that is introduced in this Update - The 6* Lightning Element Vera: Garnet, the brand new Lucia:Blume special Coating and the A Rank Construct CUB SeeShell, each with their own power and special abilities that players will find interesting to play with.

A Rank CUB SeeShell

CUB SeeShell is an Ice centric CUB that boosts the team’s ice damage output all the while dealing supplemental Ice damage to a large number of enemies in a big area and slowing them.

The CUB’s skills change depending on the element of the user and will offer different types of buffs depending on the element of the Constructs equipped with it. However, SeeShell’s skills will be further enhanced when equipped to Ice Elemental Heroes, providing them with Ice buffs that boost their damage potential in addition to boosting their damage against Frozen enemies in the field.

The CUB will also help with the constructs’ combat on field as it will occasionally throw ice grenades on the field to aid with the damage in addition to slowing down the enemies’ movements and potentially freezing them in place.

Vera: Garnet

Vera: Garnet is a Lightning Elemental Construct that wields a brand new type of weapon - a flagpole. Vera: Garnet is a tank type construct that specializes in using her normal attacks to shred enemies Lightning resistance and their Super Armor status in addition to dealing massive Lightning damage depending on her own special effect - Lightning Charge.

Vera: Garnet shines in her ability to crowd control a massive field of enemies by pulling them towards her with her charge attack. The more stacks of Lightning charge she gains from her normal attack, the more damage and pull force her charge attack will have and she will be able to pull the entire field of enemies to one point for other constructs to deal damage to them.

Vera’s skills and attacks also deal massive amounts of lightning damage to a large field of enemies and shred their lightning resistance and their super armor and their shield.

Vera’s ultimate is a simple one as she will throw a massive spear into the group of enemies, dealing massive amounts of Lightning elemental damage and effectively removing their armor. Her damage increases proportionally to Vera’s Lightning Charge.

Should You Pull

Yes,You Absolutely Should. Vera: Garnet is one of the game’s best S Rank Construct especially for the Lightning element and she will help boost your Lightning team’s damage output immensely with her buffs and crowd control capability, in addition, even if players were to roll for Vera: Garnet, they will still be able to save up for the next S Rank Construct, so it is extremely recommendable to roll for her as this is her only 100% Rate UP banner in the game for the entire year.

For the A Rank CUB SeeShell, players shouldn’t roll for the CUB just yet as there will be a better CUB that specializes in Ice damage in the next patch.
