PUBG Mobile Weapons Tier List [March2021 Update]

Making a PUBG Weapons Tier List or Best Weapons Guide is perhaps the most difficult thing these days because, unlike its humble beginnings, where there were just a few guns, the game has now expanded its library to a total of 39 weapons. Other than that, this gets further messy with the expanded fancy features and constant changes in the weapon stats. Today we are going to discuss the best guns in PUBG: Mobile. First, we will list all the guns according to their Tiers in their individual categories.

 

 

Tier List Category Wise:

 

Assault Rifles:

 

The assault rifle is a high versatility weapon class that has good damage and a fast rate of fire. With selective-fire modes of single, burst, and full-auto, it makes assault rifles even more compatible and adaptable to all distances in a firefight.

 

There are 10 weapons in the Assault Rifle class, such as GROZA, M762, AKM, AUG A3, M416, SCAR-L, QBZ, G36C, M16A4, and Mk 47.

Submachine guns (SMG):

 

The submachine gun is a weapon class that has good damage at close range and a very fast rate of fire.

Marksman rifles :( DMR):

 

DMR is a semi-auto sniper rifle class that has great damage and accuracy. Mostly use in medium to long-distance. Even though this weapon firing mode is a single shot, but each shot required no reload until it runs out of mag.

Another supply drop-only weapon, the AWM Sniper Rifle, is devastatingly accurate. What’s more, it has the power to penetrate through a Level 3 helmet with a headshot.

The Mk14 EBR is a DMR type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS and can only be found in airdrops. Originally built for US special operations units, this rifle has seen widespread use within the US military, owing to its full-power 7.62x51mm cartridge and proven reliability.

Crowbar:

 

The fact that a headshot is an instant kill may tempt you to the Crossbow, but literally, everything else about the weapon is terrible. Don’t do it. Seriously, don’t. Unless you want to friendly fire your teammates so they’ve got arrows sticking out of them because that can be really funny.

Sawed-off:

 

Sawed-Off’s introduction in the game was wild, but as it stands out. The hand-pistol is more useless than ever. I haven’t come across any player who would use this, and unlike P92 or Tommy Gun, which are handy in early games. The Sawed-Off is a bad choice because If you miss the first bullet, there will be a 3 second reload that often gets frustrating. It’s also worth noting that, unlike other shotguns, it has a huge spread, and the damage is significantly less for a Sawed-Off-inspired weapon.

QBU:

 

With an extremely poor Iron Sight and Unpredictable Recoil Pattern, the QBU will always emerge as a limited Rifle that can only be utilized in Sanhok.

Groza:

 

This Assault Rifle is only found in supply drops for a reason. Its high rate of fire and huge damage output puts it right at the top of our list. However, this is a rare weapon, so be careful when approaching the supply drop as there may be a couple of sniper rifles aimed at the vicinity and a strong enemy presence. It’s worth the risk for this powerful rifle.

M24:

 

Unsurprisingly, the best weapons are those found in supply drops, and the M24 is no exception. This powerful Sniper Rifle is quite similar to the Kar98K that you may have more experience using but simply does a lot more damage.

Mini 14:

 

The Mini14 could be a good practice rifle, as it has very little recoil. However, this also means that it doesn’t do very much damage.

Beryl M762:

 

In its earlier days of release, Beryl M762 was considered as a recoil hog with great damage. Over the years, this has changed, and PUBG Corp has rolled out numerous updates, trying their best to balance this deadly weapon.

SLR:

 

Our first Marksman Rifle on the list, the SLR, can be deadly in the hands of a competent player. However, mastering the huge recoil can take a long time, so make sure you know what you’re doing before letting loose with this.

MG3:

 

The MG3 is an exclusive AirDrop weapon. It features two firing modes, the default that will fire at 660 rounds per minute (great for long-range fights) or when toggled the weapon the fire at 990 rounds per minute (great for close-quarters combat). The MG3 comes standard with a bi-pod and with the toggled 990 round per minute setting; it's a great way to stop people crossing bridges.

AKM:

 

The AKM does great damage, but, as with many B Tier weapons, the recoil makes it tricky to be completely accurate. Use the burst fire mode and a barrel stabilizer to somewhat mitigate these issues, but as Assault Rifles go, it’s fairly basic.

Scar –L:

 

The recoil of the SCAR-L is a letdown, for sure, but equipping attachments can mitigate this to some extent. Still, the SCAR-L is worth picking up in the early game but is definitely replaceable with any of the Assault Rifles above it in this list.

M16A4:

 

The M16A4, unfortunately, suffers from the same problems as the AKM. Lots of recoil makes it difficult to land enough hits on opponents to make the damage worthwhile The M16 will always be outclassed by Sniper Rifles at the range, the Uzi close-up, and is the recoil does you no favors at mid-distance.

KAR98k:

 

The most easily accessible Sniper Rifle in PUBG Mobile, you’ll no doubt see the Kar98K lying about on your travels. It lacks the pure power that other Sniper Rifles have, but it’s a reasonable choice to ply your trade.

M416:

 

The M416 can be easily found across the maps, especially in loot-heavy areas like cities. A pretty versatile Assault Rifle, you can select single-fire and equip a 4x scope to maximize your range and accuracy or keep it burst or automatic with an extended magazine.

S12K:

 

Shotguns can work well in the gritty early periods of matches, and the fully automatic S12K can surprise opponents with its high rate of fire. Ditch it as soon as you leave a city or find something better, as it will be next to useless in the endgame

SKS:

 

The SKS is essentially a worse version of the SLR. If you’re a deft hand at reducing the recoil, then pick it up until you find its superior brother for sure, but it lacks the damage output to make up for the difficulty to use.

VSS Vintorez:

 

The beauty of the VSS is that it needs no attachments. You’ll find it with a built-in scope and suppressor, making it an easy pick-up early game. However, it doesn’t do enough damage to warrant keeping hold of, and the bullet drop is difficult to master.

M249:

 

This weapon has an incredible 100-bullet magazine, so you will never need to reload in the middle of a firefight. However, make sure you do reload between fights, as it sure takes a while.

UZI:

 

The Uzi is actually a fairly weak weapon, but it really comes into its own once you’ve added all the attachments. Your first port of call will be to add an extended quickdraw magazine to the Submachine Gun and then find a stock and barrel stabilizer.

Vector:

 

The Vector is an SMG with a low ammo capacity. That’s all you need to know, really. An extended magazine will help, but the Vector still won’t deal enough damage to warrant one of your precious weapon slots.

DP-28:

 

This Light Machine Gun just makes its way into the S Tier because of its utility and versatility. You can pick it up and grab some kills without any attachments at all. Try to find a red dot sight to at least improve your accuracy, but the huge magazine and low recoil mean you can take out enemies at close range with ease.

Thompson:

 

This is another outdated weapon and simply lacks the power or precision to be useful in any fight. It’s quite funny to watch your character reload a huge dish magazine, though.

Mosin Nagant:

 

Supposedly there isn’t much to say here except that Blue hole was once again very ambitious to add Kar98k’s replica. The developer admitted this in a blog post, saying that Mosin Nagant will have the exact same statistics as Kar98k except for the sound and the looks. Anyhow, this gun has a decent layout, and its importance has simply constituted the poor loot system of PUBG. There wasn’t any need for this gun, but suppose you come across one. There aren’t lots of things to know except that it can Knockout a Level 2 Helmet with one shot, and the gun has the same bullet velocity (760 m/s) and Damage (79) as Kar98k.

UMP9:

 

The UMP9 is the SMG version of the Mini14. It has similarly low recoil but also sacrifices DPS for this. Again, in a close firefight, it could come in handy, but if you find an Uzi or AR, they’ll serve you much better for longer in the match.

P18C:

 

Initially, the idea of P18C was very decent, and the pistol seemed too invincible in the early game. However, this changed with a few nerfs over the past, but luckily while writing this guide, Blue hole listened to the community and decreased its recoil in Update #23.

R45:

 

The second pistol in the B tier would be R45, a replica of the R9895 but exclusive to Miramar. It comes in with the greatest damage for a pistol. Luckily, unlike its competitor, you can also attach a Red Dot, which is sometimes unnecessary considering the default Iron Sight is above average.

P1911:

 

The P1911 is a pistol-type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS. The M1911A1 (called the P1911 in-game) is a sidearm chambered for the slow but heavy-hitting. 45 ACP round.

R1895:

 

Due to the lack of a cylinder gap, the pistol is as mechanically consistent as a bolt action rifle. But the trigger pull is so atrocious that it doesn't matter. In single action, the Nag ant’s trigger is crisp and breaks cleanly.

UMP45:

 

During its initial days of release, the UMP45 was immensely popular as a secondary weapon. The SMG was known for its non-existent recoil and great damage that would be useful in late circles and mid-range flights.

Another newly added SMG is the Dazzling MP5K, which has similar characteristics as Vector but comes with greater damage. This SMG is brilliant in all ways; it has everything one would ask for.

With Identical stats like the SCAR-L, QBZ was released as an exclusive weapon for the Sanhok Map. The gun is deservingly very popular, thanks to its controllable recoil and high fire rate that paves the way for 4X spray.

G36C:

Win94:

 

Incredibly powerful, the Win94 struggles because it can’t take any attachments. That’s what you get for picking up a 100-year-old rifle, though. They didn’t have 8x scopes in 1894, you know.

Deagle:

 

With such a godlike aurora, bullet velocity and damage. The Deagle is, without a doubt Top Tier Weapon in CSGO. It comprises the pistol category, which is a huge benefit because this expands on players having the option to equip two powerful primary and secondary.

Skorpion:

 

Some years ago, Tommy gun would always make to the A and S Tiers in PUBG Weapons. However, this weapon has heavily been changed, and that was rightfully so. It first emerged as a crate-only weapon that had great damage and could easily blow up cars.

P92:

 

Despite having higher damage comparing the P18C and Skorpion, the P92 fire rate has always bottlenecked its statics. The pistol can often be useful in hot drops.

PP-19 Bizon:

 

With just glamour of damage difference between PP-19 Bizon and UMP45 or Vector. The PP-19 Bizon does come with an extended mag; however, this benefit is reduced with the painfully slow fire rate.

S1897:

 

The last WW1 weapon in PUBG Mobile is a Shotgun. This is outclassed by more modern iterations like the S12K, which are situational at the best of times themselves.

S686:

 

The S686 is a shotgun-type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS. The S686 is a sporting variant of the Beretta 686 "Silver Pigeon," a competition-grade over-under style double-barreled shotgun.

Pistols and Sidearm:

 

The only sidearm worth carrying, outside of emergencies where you can't find anything else, is the Sawed-Off Shotgun, P18C, Skorpion, and P1911. The Sawed-Off is probably the best, as sidearms are really for emergencies only, and with that, you only need to carry a few rounds for it to be handy. The P18C is a bit of a powerhouse with full attachments, though, acting like a spare SMG if you're stuck for close-range options - and note that pistols now have practically zero recoils as of Update #12. It's like playing classic DOOM and makes them much easier (and more fun!) to use.

Frag grenade:

 

Frag Grenade is one of the most used throwables in PUBG Mobile. It is one of the most reliable non-ammunition equipment in the game and has multiple uses and advantages. It is the only throwable that has the capability of doing instant damage.

 

Smoke grenade:

 

A smoke grenade is a throwable that creates a cloud of smoke, allowing you to hide behind it or escape through it if you are in a tight situation. There are multiple different uses of the smoke grenade. 

 

Stun grenade:

 

A stun grenade is used very little by players because they don’t realize its uses. The stun grenade can be a very useful tool. It can be used in multiple ways and can help you make a difference in the gameplay. The stun grenade, when thrown at an enemy, can blind them for some time, creating an opening for you to attack.

 

 Molotov cocktail:

 

Molotov cocktail is the only throwable in PUBG Mobile that does not need to cook before throwing. The Molotov cocktail is a petrol-filled bottle on fire that explodes and spreads flames when thrown. This is a little slow in taking down enemies but does damage constantly as it sets the enemy on fire for a good 5 seconds.

 

Sticky bomb:

 

There are some secret locations in the Karakin Map hidden behind the walls. So, by using the sticky bomb, you can enter inside chambers by blasting the wall doors.

Use melee weapons as a last resort. If you still have any sort of firearm, use it. In order to get an enemy with one of the above weapons, you need to close in on them, which is always risky.  If you're able to sneak around the enemy and you're sure they're not aware of your presence, you can try a melee weapon - each one of them deals pretty good damage, and if you manage to get a headshot, the enemy's as good as dead.

 

These weapons cannot be in any way modified.
