Magic Chronicle: Isekai RPG - Game Review & Gacha Rates

2024-01-12

Many years ago, the kingdom of Taelan lived in peace and harmony, when suddenly, demons appeared with an immense crystal. These demons immediately sought to conquer the world using the power of this dark crystal. However, heroes from every race gathered to defeat them, and finally, with the support of the entire continent, the crystal of pure malevolence was shattered. The crystal, though, could not be completely destroyed and split into 5 large fragments, each guarded by a different race inhabiting the world of Taelan. Peace returned for many years, but it did not last forever. After a long time, these fragments reactivated, and that's why the heroes were once again called upon to fight the demons that were reappearing in the world of Taelan!

What is Magic Chronicle: Isekai RPG?

Magic Chronicle: Isekai RPG is a new IDLE game RPG (in the style of AFK Arena). In this game, we are tasked with assembling a party of 5 characters, and each of these characters can belong to a different Race (Empire, Beastkin, Sylvan, Nether, Divinedom, Abyss, Space-Time), a different class (Power, Intelligence, or Agility), and a different type of attack (Melee, Ranged). The game offers extensive content in both PvE and PvP. In PvE, the Campaign is the primary content, consisting of numerous chapters where we must face various enemies and bosses to earn rewards. By completing these chapters, we unlock various content. The Trial Tower, a tower full of bosses to gain Gems and Stardust for leveling. The Hero Fort, for enhancing and merging characters, the Fate Oracle, a feature allowing us to sync the level of our characters with the top 5, the Guild, where we can confront guild bosses and meet new players, the Bounty Mission for fabulous rewards, and many other contents. For PvP content, there are the Arenas, a challenge against other players (controlled by AI) that earns us rank and substantial rewards, and the Advanced Arena, a battle where two teams fight against two teams. In addition to these features, there will be numerous characters to summon, events, and plenty of free rewards!

Game Content

Campaign

Campaign

The “Campaign” is the first game mode we will unlock, and as we progress, it will allow us to unlock all the other modes. In the campaign, we will face numerous battles. Progressing through battles will unlock new chapters. When the level of our party is high enough, we will also be able to skip entire battles and fight directly against a boss. Completing various chapters will reward us with items such as Copper Coin, Hero Exp, Account Exp, Bounty Point, etc. Additionally, the higher the chapter we face, the greater the Idle Rewards we can collect over time. If a stage seems too challenging, simply continue accumulating Idle rewards and power up your characters.

Trial Tower

Trial Tower

The “Trial Tower” is a game content that requires us to face a long series of floors, each containing a boss. Every time we ascend a floor, the boss becomes increasingly challenging, but along with the difficulty, the rewards also grow. Among the rewards we can obtain are Copper Coin, Flashing Stardust, and Gems. In this case, if our party is much stronger than the boss, we can skip entire floors and jump directly to the battle suitable for the power of our team.

Fate Oracle

Fate OracleThe “Fate Oracle” is a function we have already seen in some Idle games similar to this one. We can enhance 5 of our favorite characters of our choice, and they will become the foundation for "Syncing" other characters (increasing slots as needed), allowing us to have a large number of high-level characters while using resources only for those 5. This way, we can vary our team based on needs without spending resources on all characters.

Guild System

Guild SystemWhen we join a ”Guild”, we can engage in special battles called Guild Boss. In these battles, we face very powerful bosses alongside other guild members, and once defeated, we obtain Guild Medals that we can spend in the guild shop to get high-grade equipment!

Arena

Arena

In the “Arena”, we can battle against teams of other players controlled by AI in offline battles. In turn, we need to create a team to defend against other players. Winning battles earns us points, increasing our rank. Depending on the rank we achieve, we can then receive fantastic rewards! There's a limited number of daily Arena battles, so take advantage of all possible battles every day!

Bounty

Bounty”Bounties” are expeditions in which we can participate by consuming "Intel Points". We can obtain these points from the Idle Battle every day. There is a cap on how many points we can earn, so it's essential to always use them to send our characters on expeditions. By completing specific requests, the level and rarity of the missions will increase.

For example, to increase the first level, you need to:

  • Clear Floor 100 on Trial Tower

  • Complete 4/5/6 Star Bounty tasks 100/30/4 times

For Vip 2 players, one Elite Bounty is guaranteed on the first refresh every day, and for Vip 3, a Perfect Bounty is guaranteed on the first refresh.

Heroes of Higher quality can complete more difficult bounty quests. However, the same hero cannot be dispatched in two different quests.

If you don’t want to accept a particular quest, you can refresh to replace the current expedition quest. Each refresh will generate 6 new Quests, and it costs Stargem or Bounty Refresh Coupon (Prioritized). Acceptable quests are capped at 10, so once this cap is reached, you need to claim first to make room for others.
