Limbus Company Gacha System And Rates

Before attempting to reroll for specific characters in the gacha , players should have a general understanding of how the gacha in Limbus company works, the rates of the best possible rolls in the gacha system and which indications can players look out for when rolling for specific Identities or E.G.O to know in advance their rarity as well as the characters the cards are for.

Character Roster

Unlike other gacha games, Limbus Company’s character roster is limited to 12 different characters or “prisoners” within the train, each with their own quirks and mechanics. Players will have access to all 12 characters once they have finished the game’s tutorial and can use up to 5 of them in a fight.

What players are rolling for are each character’s specific “Identities” and “E.G.O” or in other words, specific character cards with different abilities and skills depending on which cards players choose to use for that specific battle. Each character can change their “Identities” prior to fights and they have specific skills unique to that “Identities” card only. 1 character can only choose 1 “Identities” before battle. Therefore, what players are actually rolling for are different character cards that have different abilities and skills that they can use in battle in specific situations.

Identities VS E.G.O

In the gacha, players will have the chance to obtain both “Identities” and E.G.Os with each having separate gacha rates and different uses in the game. So which should players prioritize trying to get?

 

Identities are the more common thing in the gacha with different rarity that players can roll for and take up 98.7% of the gacha rates, divided for all 1*, 2* and 3*s Identities, with 1* Identities rate being 83%, 2* Identities taking up 12.8% and 3* Identities taking up 2.9% of the gacha rate. As these are different character cards, they function differently as different cards for 1 character can have different skills and abilities, varying their usefulness depending on the cards players have obtained.

Conversely, E.G.Os are a special case and they take up 1.3% of the gacha pool, however, they are perhaps the hardest thing to obtain but is one of the most powerful things to get in Limbus Company. A character’s E.G.O is universal, meaning once you have obtained the E.G.O for that character, the effects of that E.G.O will affect ALL different Identities of that specific character, buffing their potential in general and make the character infinitely more powerful. Each character has 5 total E.G.Os that players can attempt to obtain and once equipped, their effects will enhance the power of all Identities card no matter the circumstances.

 

Therefore, if chosen between Identities or E.G.O, players should absolutely reroll in order to obtain the E.G.Os of their favorite character instead of the Identities card, as the E.G.O is more stable and better investment for the character in the future. 

Limbus Company Gacha

As mentioned above, Limbus Company’s Gacha system is used mainly for players to roll for specific Identities character cards and special E.G.Os for specific characters within the 12 characters roster in order to strengthen their power in battles or to strengthen their power in general.

Limbus Company’s Gacha comes in the chains with special colors to indicate different rarity of the items the players have obtained. A gray color indicates a 1* Identity card, a Red glow indicates a 2* Identity Card and a Yellow/ Golden glow indicates a 3* identity card or a special E.G.O. There’s no way to distinguish between whether or not you have gotten a 3* identity card or an E.G.O besides actually reading the special line accompanying specific 3* and E.G.Os.

How to Fast Reroll in Limbus Company

The reroll process in Limbus Company is actually extremely straightforward and easy to do as the game itself is built for players to be able to reroll for their favorite characters at the moment they start the game.

Step 1: Download The Game and Sign In as Guess

Downloading the game and its data is of course the first step. Once you finished downloading the data of the game, select logging in as a Guest option at the title screen of the game. If the results of the rolls were undesirable, players can access the account delete option through the upper right gear icon > Settings > Account > Close Account. After that, all players need to do is to type “LimbusCompany” into the bar and the account will be successfully deleted. Go back to Step 1 to start rerolling again.

Step 5: Bind Account

Once the players have obtained the desirable results from rerolls, players can link their account to at the upper right gear icon > Settings > Account and they then can link the account to either Google Play or Iphone accounts.
