Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Version Update Patch Guide - What to Expect

With the first update patch of Honkai Star Rail quickly approaching its end and the Special Rate UP Banner featuring Jing Yuan coming to a close, a special livestream have been announced in order to inform players of the upcoming exciting contents coming to Honkai Star Rail in the brand new version update patch 1.1 - Galactic Roaming, featuring brand new events, special rate up characters and new features to be implemented.

 

In this guide, we will go over the detail of Honkai Star Rail’s special update patch 1.1 - Galactic Roaming and advises players on how they can best take advantage of the contents being released in this update patch to strengthen their characters and obtain special currencies to roll on the special limited time available banners, featuring the 5* Quantum Nihility Character Silver Wolf and the 5* Imaginary Abundance Character Luocha.

Honkai Star Rail 1.1 Update - Gameplay Updates and Events

With the release of Honkai Star Rail’s brand new update 1.1 - Galactic Roaming, special limited time events and gameplay upgrades will be implemented into the game to make the game more accessible for players in the long term and to reward players with important resources they can use to strength their characters and to obtain brand new never before seen characters.

Brand New Characters Release

With the release of version update 1.1 - Galactic Roaming, special characters have been released into the game with special limited time rate up banners for players to roll for and obtain them in order to add into the roster. These characters are:

 

Silver Wolf - A 5* Character of the Quantum Element, following the path of Nihility. Silver Wolf is one of the members of the infamous Stellaron Hunters and is a notoriously genius hacker. With her ability to hack reality itself to inflict special debuffs on enemies, she is promised to be an extremely powerful character utilizing her debuffing abilities.

Luocha - A 5* character of the Imaginary Element, following the path of Abundance. A strange young man constantly carrying around a special coffin that is teeming with life force, Luocha is a special never before seen healer character that scales with his attack. His ability to not only heal but deal damage will surely be a huge boon for those that manage to recruit him into their teams.

Yukong - A 4* character of the Imaginary Element, following the path of Harmony. She is one of the 6 Charioteers of the Xianzhou Luofu and is a special character that has the ability to boost the team’s critical rate and critical damage.

Special Version Limited Event - Star Hunt Game

One of the special events available for a limited time during the update patch’s period, the special event Star Hunt Game will be held and will reward players with special limited time rewards for those who partake in the event and finish the special tasks given to them on a daily basis.

During the event’s period, players will receive a special invitation to go back to Herta’s Space Station to investigate a special incident involving special Graffiti all around the station. Completing these investigations and special tasks will rewards players with Stellar Jades, Special Character upgrading materials and a special limited time 4* Nihility Light Cone for Free.

This special 4* Nihility Light Cone can only be obtained during the event’s period and players will be able to superimpose it to rank 5 through finishing the event. This Light Cone allows the character to gain a large amount of Energy everytime they attack enemies that have the defense down debuffs, perfect for debuff-centric characters.

 

In addition, after the end of the event, players will be able to obtain special Graffiti that they can use on surfaces in the overworld to take pictures with.

Limited Time Event - Everwinter City Museum

After the Star Hunt Event, players will be able to partake in a brand new event called the Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities. During this event, players will have the chance to perform special tasks given by the newly formed staff of the Everwinter City Museum in order to maintain the museum. These tasks, when completed, will reward players with a large amount of Stellar Jades, Character Updating materials and a special Self Modeling Resin.

Self Modeling Resin can be used to allow players to obtain a special Relic with the main stat of the players’ choice, so obtaining this special item is quite important for those who do not wish to farm too many Relics and not get what they want.

After the event duration is over, the Museum area will remain open for players to explore, however, players won’t be able to do the tasks in order to obtain the rewards. 

Limited Time Event - Stellar Flare

After the event in the Everwinter City Museum, players will be able to partake in a special event on Herta’s Space Station by the name Stellar Flare. 

In this event, players will be faced with 8 different challenge stages, each with their own unique rules, buffs and debuffs being inflicted on the characters. Completing all of these stages to obtain a variety of rewards such as Stellar Jades, character upgrading materials and more.

 

In addition, players will be able to test different characters and test out their abilities in combat.

Limited Time Events - Garden of Plenty

One of the last events in this patch is the Garden of Plenty event. During this event’s duration, the rewards players obtained from farming Red and Golden Calx will be doubled. These include Vouchers, Character EXPs, Light Cone EXPs and Trace Upgrading materials for characters. 

Players should absolutely take advantage of this special event to farm these items in order to strengthen their characters, as this period is the most beneficial to farm double the materials they will need in the future.

Special Log In Event - Free 10 Tickets

To commemorate the release of version 1.1, the last event of the patch, the special log in event will be held, allowing players to obtain a total of 10 FREE Summoning tickets.

All players have to do in order to claim this amazing reward is to log into the game for 7 days during the event patch’s period and they will be able to obtain up to 10 summoning tickets that can be spent on the limited time rate up banners featuring Silver Wolf or Luocha.
