Fate/Grand Order Start Dash GSSR - Who Should You Aim For

With the Back To School campaign going in full swing in preparation for the school season coming for the global server, Fate/Grand Order NA have introduced a brand new system of banner that is entirely exclusive for the NA server and is not available on any other servers as a way to incentivizes new players and old players alike by allowing them to roll on a brand new banner that guarantees a 5* SSR servant as a way to start the game fresh and in the best way possible.

 

In this guide, we will go over the details of the newly added system of the special Start Dash GSSR Banner and see what servants are in place in the pool of servants that players should expect when rolling on the banner and advises players on which of the servants available should players aim for in order to have the perfect starting point in the game.

Fate/Grand Order Start Dash GSSR Banner - What Is It

The Start Dash GSSR banner is a brand new never before seen gameplay system that was added into the NA Server of Fate/Grand Order through the Back To School Celebration campaign and will remain a permanent fixture for all newly made accounts in Fate/Grand Order for a total of 30 days before its ending after a fresh account is made. For older players, counting from the start of the Back To School Celebration campaign start date, these players can also roll on this Start Dash GSSR banner for a limited time and the banner will end 30 days after this start date for older accounts. 

The Start Dash GSSR Banner is a special banner that allows players to roll for 11 times and be guaranteed 1 5* Limited SSR Servant in the pool of servants available for the cost of 12 paid saint quarts and can only be rolled on 1 time during an account’s lifetime. Once used, the players will be guaranteed to obtain one out of 21 servants available in the 5* pool and will have a chance to obtain an extra 4* or 5* servants depending on their luck.

 

It is important to note that in order to be able to roll on this banner, players will need to obtain 12 paid saint quarts from topping up, otherwise, they will not be able to roll on this banner at all. That being said, this banner is one of the most valuable and cost efficient banners in Fate/Grand Order as the cost for it is extremely low in comparison to other GSSR banners for Anniversary and New Year events in Fate/Grand Order.

Start Dash GSSR Banner - The Servants Pool

The servants pool for this Start Dash GSSR Banner is significantly smaller when compared to other GSSR Banners in Fate/Grand Order, which can prove to be both a good and bad thing for players. The servants pool consists of 21 Limited 5 Stars SSR Servants that were released in Fate/Grand Order from the game’s release all the way to the end of the game’s 1st main story arc. By rolling on this banner, players will be guaranteed at least 1 of these 21 servants and further extra servants if they are lucky. 

It is important to note that the servant players will obtain is determined randomly and since they are limited servants, the servants available can provide players with extremely good value when obtaining them through this banner.

Start Dash GSSR Banner -  Who Should Players Aim For

With the Start Dash GSSR banner only being available for 1 single time during an account’s lifetime and is aimed towards newer players of the game, it is important for players to know the best servants they can obtain from this banner. Therefore, here are the top 4 servants players should aim for when rolling on the Start Dash GSSR banner.

4. Minamoto no Raikou

Minamoto no Raikou is a 5* Berserker that deals massive amounts of Buster damage to waves of enemies and deals extra damage to enemies with “demonic” traits.

Minamoto no Raikou’s kit revolves around buffing her critical and Noble Phantasm damage against Demonic trait enemies and clear waves of enemies in her way.

 

Raikou’s only problem is that her kit doesn’t have a NP battery, making it difficult for her to gain her NP gauge to use her Noble Phantasm, however, once Raikou is able to use her Noble Phantasm, she will deal massive damage and will wipe out any waves of enemies. In addition, with her brand new buff in JP server, in the future she will become one of the best AOE Buster farmers in the game.

3. Sakata Kintoki

Sakata Kintoki is a 5* Berserker that specializes in being able to use his Noble Phantasm instantly in the first turn do deal massive damage and instantly kill bosses.

Sakata Kintoki is a notorious boss killer especially in raid events as his kit allows him to deal massive amounts of damage in the first turn with his Noble Phantasm in addition to debuffing them with his Noble Phantasm.

 

Sakata Kintoki’s 1st skill boosts his buster performance by a whopping 50% and grants him a NP damage up buff, helping to improve his damage potential. In addition, Kintoki’s 3rd skill instantly boosts his NP gauge by 50%, allowing him to instantly use his NP on the first turn, helping him to kill bosses using the Black Grail CE instantly.

2. Nero Claudius (Bride)

Nero Claudius (Bride) or Nero Bride is a 5* Saber servant that specializes in providing the team with a large variety of useful and powerful buffs that not only help to elevate their damage potential but also help to grant them an offensive and defensive edge over the enemy in battles.

Nero Bride’s strong point lies in her skill kit which allows her to grant very powerful targetable buffs to 1 ally in the team, providing them with offensive buffs like attack up, damage up against certain enemy traits and effects and more, allowing their damage to skyrocket. Not only that, Nero bride also grants the ally some good defensive buffs like healing and defense up to help boost their survivability. Finally, Nero also helps to boost a servant’s ability to spam their noble phantasm by providing the servant with a targetable 30% battery and a further Np charge up buffs, allowing the servant to be one of the most versatile and useful buffers in the game.

1. Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh is a 5* Archer that specializes in annihilating large waves of enemies and servants facing him with his Noble Phantasm that deal extremely powerful damage against a large roster of servants.

Gilgamesh’s strength lies in his skill kit and noble phantasm that helps him to deal massive amounts of damage solely through his noble phantasm. Gilgamesh’s skill kit is quite fundamental due to being one of the earliest released servants in the game, however, it does not mean that his skill kit is not effective. His skill kit allows him to boost his noble phantasm damage to an extreme, allowing to clear large waves of enemies with ease. 

 

Gilgamesh’s noble phantasm, Enuma Elish, is one of the most powerful noble phantasm in the game with its ability to deal effective damage against a large amount of servants in the game and deal good damage against mob enemies, allowing Gilgamesh to be one of the game’s good AOE buster farmer.
