Fate/Grand Order Halloween Rising 2023 Event Guide

Together with the returns of halloween Campaign for Fate/Grand Order which allows players to add all of the previous Halloween welfare servants into their roster as permanent servants, Fate/Grand Order have also introduced to players the main attraction of this year’s halloween season in the form of the special limited time event - Halloween Rising Event, which introduces and allow player to add the brand new welfare servant - Elizabeth (Cinderella) into the players’ roster. In addition, players will have the chance to roll for the newly released servant - the 5* Foreigner Jacques De Molay in her brand new limited banner.

Fate/Grand Order Halloween Rising Event Guide

With the release of the special halloween rising celebration campaign, several interesting campaigns and interesting mechanics players should be aware of.

Special Limited Log In Campaign

During the release of the special Halloween Rising special campaign, players will be able to obtain special rewards by simply logging into the game during the correct period of time.

 

During this time, when the twitter (or X) post of the official Fate/Grand Order account reaches a certain amount of Retweets, all players will be rewarded with 6 saint quarts upon logging into the game for the first time.

Story Stages

During the event’s duration, players will be able to partake in the event and play story stages to advance in the story stages in order to complete the event missions and advance in the event in order to obtain special rewards including saint quartz to be used for pulling servants in the rate up banners and to obtain the free 4* Servant - The 4* Rider Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella).

During the event’s period, event stages will unlock eventually with the entire event story being unlocked on the 2nd week of the event. Once the story is completed, players will be able to obtain 1 Holy Grail and the permanent implementation of the 4* Servants - The 4* Rider Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella) into their roster as a usable servant moving forward.

Farming Stages

In addition to the story stages which will be unlock gradually during the event’s duration, special farming stages will also be available for players to farm specific event currencies during the event’s run time, these stages will feature special enemies that can appear more frequently depending on if players have equipped the event Craft Essence which boost the appearance rate of event specific monsters.

In addition, brand new farming stages will be unlocked gradually as the players clear the story stages and advance further in the event. The new farming stages will have enhanced difficulty and different types of enemies available. The higher the difficulty of the stage is, the more rewards the stage will drop with the 90++ node giving all 3 event currencies in large quantities if players are able to clear the stage.

Points Ladder And Event Craft Essences

During the event’s period, in order to clear the event and obtain the most amount of rewards, players will have to obtain special monster points in order to increase the 3 different points ladder and obtain the rewards available from the 3 points ladder.

Each point will be increased based on the certain amounts of monsters players have defeated during the battle stages with each type of monster rewarding players with one of the 3 different types of points. In order to make certain types of monsters appear more frequently to increase the amounts of points you receive, players will need to equip the 3 different types of Event Craft Essences in the store to increase the chance of that monster type to appear, up to 100% chance increase when the Craft Essences are maxed.

Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella)

Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella) is a 4* Welfare Rider classed servant that specializes in granting herself and the party various useful buffs to improve the entire team’s combat prowess and damage dealt in addition to focusing on dealing massive amounts of single target damage to one enemy with her powerful Noble Phantasm.

Elizabeth Bathory (Cinderella)’s strong point lies in her very powerful and versatile skill kit which allows her to grant herself various beneficial buffs, including both offensive and defensive buffs, making her into a self-sufficient servant to have for both long and short fights. Her 1st skill grants CinderEli a powerful 3 times invulnerable buff, allowing her to completely negate enemies’ damage against her for 3 attacks straight in addition to granting herself an NP gain increase buff, allowing her to accumulate her NP gauge much faster to use her Noble Phantasm. Her 2nd skill allows her to buff her Buster Performance, allowing her to increase her overall damage output with her face cards and Noble Phantasm. Finally, CinderEli’s 3rd skill increases her critical damage and grants her critical star, allowing her to initiate combat with her critical hits using her face cards. 

 

Finally, her Noble Phantasm is a massively powerful Single target Hit that deals massive amounts of damage to 1 enemy, allowing her to be a very useful and powerful boss killer for both short and long fights.

Special Limited Rate Up Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the release of the brand new Halloween Rising Special limited event, players will have the chance to roll for the newly released 5* servant - the 5* Foreigner Jacques De Molay.

Jacques De Molay

Jacques De Molay is a 5* Foreigner class servant that specializes in buffing other Evil Alignment servants in addition to applying the Curse debuffs on enemies that she attacks, allowing her to enable many powerful Evil Alignment based and Curse DoT based team compositions.

Jacques De Molay’s strong point lies in her ability to grant the entire party the special Evil Alignment Status Effect, which grants of all her allies the beneficial buffs targeted specifically for servant with Evil Alignment, allowing the entire team to be granted various useful buffs from other servants and become a very viable Evil Alignment centric team. Not only that, Jacques De Molay’s 3rd skill allows her to inflict the target of her attacks with the Curse Debuff, inflicting damage to all the enemies with this debuff over time but more crucially, allowing her to be a good Curse Enabler for many Curse Centric team compositions that relies heavily on servants that have the ability to inflict Curse on the enemy.

 

Jacques De Molay’s Noble Phantasm is also a very powerful point in her favor as it is a Quick AOE Noble Phantasm that increases her own NP damage before dealing massive amount of Quick damage to all enemies, inflicting them with 1 stack of Curse Debuff and 1 stack of Curse Amplification debuff for a whopping 5 turns duration, making it one of the best Noble Phantasm to use to enable other Curse based servant’s kit like Van Gogh team composition. The damage dealt by this Noble Phantasm is also decent enough to make Jacques De Molay into a competent farmer when needs be.

Should You Roll

It Depends. Jacques De Molay is a very eccentric servant that focuses on buffing existing team comps in the game, so to see if you should roll for her, players should see if they already have the resources and other servants that work well with her in order to make a good team first. Otherwise, Jacques De Molay is not a priority for players to roll for.
