This year’s edition of the lotto event sees players participating in the special rerun and revamp of previous years’ Lotto Events in the form is the Grand Nero Festival Event - featuring special farming stages, unlimited boxes of rewards including event exclusive Craft Essences, EXP cards, Qps, Character Upgrading Materials and More. In addition,a special limited banner will also be rated up during this event’s period, featuring the 5* Lancer Servant - Brynhildr.

Fate/Grand Order Grand Nero Festival

The brand new event in Fate/Grand Order is a brand new event in a series of annual event type that have existed in Fate/Grand Order ever since its first year of operation known simply as Lotto Boxes Events. 

Lotto Boxes Events

Lotto Boxes Events in Fate/Grand Order refers to events that require players to farm large amounts of event currencies in order to spend them and open large amounts of lotto boxes in order to obtain special event limited items, EXPs, QPs and character upgrading materials. These boxes include a total of 300 rewards with each box containing a set amount of items that players can spend their hard earned event currencies on in order to obtain. Once all 300 of the items in the box have been claimed by spending 600 event currencies, players can then reset the box in order to renew the rewards with brand new boxes that have in stock new limited rewards and more items.

 

The main goal of lotto boxes event revolves mainly around players equipping a large amount of Event Craft Essences that boost the drop rate and drop amounts of the special lotto currencies in order to farm the event stages and obtain as much lotto currencies as possible in order to exchange for as much lotto boxes as possible. The amount of lotto boxes are essentially infinite and players can obtain as many lotto boxes as possible depending on how much they farm and how much AP they are spending to farm the event stages.

In addition to farming stages, lotto boxes events will also feature a set of difficult challenging stages known as exhibition stages where players will suffer a variety of restrictions and difficult gameplay mechanics when facing the boss of the stage, making it extremely difficult for players to clear these stages without a full understanding of the game’s mechanics.

Grand Nero Festival

In this year’s rendition of Fate/Grand Order annual Lotto Boxes Event, players will be able to partake in the Grand Nero Festival with a heavy emphasis on revamping and remaking old farming and challenge stages from previous years’ Nero festivals and make them not only harder but also more complicate and more rewarding to all players.

With this Grand Nero Festival Event, players will have the chance to obtain a large amounts of Servants EXPs, Qps, Character Upgrading Materials like Pages, Medals and Proof of Heroes from the lotto boxes in addition to special class upgrading gem stones that are extremely needed for upgrading servants’ skills.

 

The farming stages for the event will change with the event duration on a 3-3-4 days rotation. In addition, 1 special exhibition challenge stage will be added to the event everyday, ranging from reruns of old exhibition quests to brand new ones with more powerful foes and updated game mechanics.

Grand Nero Festival Lotto Boxes Event - Tips And Tricks

In order to obtain the most amount of rewards from lotto boxes players need to have a good idea on how they can optimize their team set up in order to obtain the most amounts of lotto event currencies in order to obtain the most amounts of lotto boxes. Therefore, here are some tips and tricks on how players can optimize their gain from this annual 1 of a kind event.

Obtain And Equip As Much Event Craft Essences As Possible

One of the easiest ways players can obtain large amounts of lotto event currencies quickly is by obtaining and equipping the event exclusive Craft Essences available for grab during the event in the event shop. These Craft Essences, when equipped, will grant +1 event currency drop for each instance of Event Lotto Currencies that is dropped during the framing stages, significantly increasing the amount of event currencies players can obtain.

The optimal amount of event currencies players should equip in a party is 6 event CEs. However, if the cost is too high or if the Event CEs hinders the farming process, 5 CEs set ups are also good. By doing this, players can obtain up to +12 event currency bonuses from 6 event CEs that have been max limit broken.

Farm Using 3 Turns Set Ups

3 turns farming setups have always been an important part of Fate/Grand Order farming as they are extremely difficult to set up with heavy investments and a requirement of specific limited servants.

 

However, if players have the ability to set up 3 turns farming setups, they will have a big advantage in farming as quickly as possible and obtain a large amount of event currencies.

 

Some of the most powerful 3 turns setup for this event includes: 2 Koyanskaya + 1 Buster AOE Servant + 1 Oberon for buster farming, 2 Caster Artorias + 1 Arts AOE Servant + 1 Oberon for Arts Farming and 2 Skadi + 1 Quick AOE Servant + 1 Oberon for Quick farming.

Grand Nero Festival Special Rate UP Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the release of the Grand Nero Festival event, a special rate up banner featuring the 5* Lancer - Brynhildr will also be available for all players to roll for.

Brynhildr

Brynhildr is a 5* Lancer Servant that specializes in dealing massive amount of single target damage to 1 enemy and deal additional damage to them if they are of the special trait of “Brynhildr Beloved”

Brynhildr is a very powerful servant with the ability to destroy servants facing her if they have the special “Brynhildr Beloved” trait. This special trait is an innate trait that will massively boost Brynhildr’s damage when coupled with her skills, allowing her to deal massive amounts of damage to 1 enemy.

Should You Pull

No, you probably shouldn’t. While Brynhildr is a very powerful servant to have, she is also very niche in terms of her kit and is quite difficult to use when facing enemies that do not fulfill her special trait.
