With the Christmas season coming very soon, Fate/Grand Order is celebrating this special seasonal occasion by providing players with many different celebratory campaigns and events to allow players to obtain special events exclusive items and rewards to strengthen players’ servants’ roster and prepare them for the upcoming challenges and story centric events this Christmas. In addition, players will have the chance to roll for special rated up banners featuring the returning limited servant of great value - the 5* Caster Scathach = Skadi.

Fate/Grand Order Christmas Celebration - What To Expect

With the Christmas season coming extremely soon, several special Christmas celebration campaigns will be in full swing for Fate/Grand Order, including a special limited time Advent Calendar celebration campaign and a limited time Christmas Event.

Fate/Grand Order Advent Calendar Log In Celebration

For a limited time only during the month of December leading up to Christmas eve, Fate/Grand Order players will receive special rewards on a daily basis depending on the day they log into the game, for up to 25 unique and useful items rewarded from the 1st of December all the way to the 25th of December, coinciding with Christmas day.

Players will receive one special mystery item for each day they log into the game during this period, with the items ranging from servant upgrading materials, EXP cards, servant enhancing materials , saint quartz and even summoning tickets.

 

Please keep in mind that the reward of the day will not be revealed in advance and will only be revealed at the start of each game day once the players have logged in. Therefore, players will not receive previous rewards from previous days if they did not log into the game during those days. So players should log in daily during this special Advent Calendar period.

Special Limited Time Christmas Event - The Making Of A Christmas Party

Together with the Christmas Advent Calendar Event, players will be able to partake in a limited time Christmas event, featuring special lotto mechanics that allows players to obtain a large amount of servant upgrading materials and the chance to obtain the free 4* welfare servant - the 4* Caster Martha (Santa)

Story Stages

During the event’s duration, players will be able to partake in the event and play story stages to advance in the story stages in order to complete the event missions and advance in the event in order to obtain special rewards including saint quartz to be used for pulling servants in the rate up banners.

During the event’s period, event stages will unlock eventually. Once the story is completed, players will be able to obtain 1 Holy Grail.

Farming Stages

For this Christmas Lotto Event, players will have the chance to obtain a large amounts of Servants EXPs, Qps, Character Upgrading Materials like Pages, Medals and Proof of Heroes from the lotto boxes in addition to special class upgrading gem stones that are extremely needed for upgrading servants’ skills.

The farming stages for the event will change with the event duration on a 3-3-4 days rotation. In addition, 1 special event challenge stage will be added to the event everyday, each with different game mechanics and special gimmicks tied to them.

Limited Lotto Boxes Exchanges

Lotto Boxes Events in Fate/Grand Order refers to events that require players to farm large amounts of event currencies in order to spend them and open large amounts of lotto boxes in order to obtain special event limited items, EXPs, QPs and character upgrading materials. These boxes include a total of 300 rewards with each box containing a set amount of items that players can spend their hard earned event currencies on in order to obtain. Once all 300 of the items in the box have been claimed by spending 600 event currencies, players can then reset the box in order to renew the rewards with brand new boxes that have in stock new limited rewards and more items.

Free Welfare Servant - Martha (Santa)

The 4* Welfare servant Martha (Santa) is a 4* Caster servant that specializes in providing an ally with special beneficial offensive and defensive buffs that allow them not only deal more damage but also survive better in long battles.

Martha (Santa)’s skill kit revolves around healing and buffing an ally servant to boost their combat abilities and survivability in battle, making her a very valuable and rare support servant that can boost your team’s performance in both short and long term fights.

 

Martha (Santa)’s Noble Phantasm allows her to grant the entire party a 20% attack up buff in addition to increasing their damage against Demon, Divinity and Undead enemies, massively boosting their damage output when fighting against these types of enemies.

Special Rate Up Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the Christmas celebration, players will have the chance to roll for one of the special returning rate up servant - the 5* Caster Scathach=Skadi

Scathach=Skadi

Scathach=Skadi is a 5* Caster servant that is the epitome of Quick support servant with her skill kit revolving around buffing other Quick card oriented servants in order to massively boost their combat potential. She is one of the strongest supporters in the game and is the sole reason why Quick servants are relevant in the game.

Scathach=Skadi’s skill kit is quite simple, with her 1st skill granting a massive 50% Quick up buff for 1 ally for 3 turns, her 2nd skill reduces all enemies defense by 50% for 3 turns and her 3rd skill granting an ally a 50% NP battery. This skill kit works together to allow her to buff a Quick AOE servant's damage potential up and allow them to loop their Noble Phantasm, enabling the Quick Noble Phantasm farming system.

 

Scathach=Skadi’s Noble Phantasm allows her to grant all allies an attack up buff before granting them a 1 time Evasion buff, prevents them from Instant Death status for 1 turn and increases their defense by a fixed amount. This Noble Phantasm is a decently good Noble Phantasm to use as an emergency failsafe when up against dangerous enemies and difficult battles.

Should You Roll

It depends. If you are a Quick Servants enthusiast or someone that really enjoys using Quick oriented servants, Scathach=Skadi is a must have servant as she is the sole enabler of any Quick based servant team compositions in the game. In addition, if you just want a good supporting servant in the long term, she is also a very powerful choice to consider rolling for. That being said, if you already have other powerful support servants like Caster Artoria or Koyanskaya of Light, then the Scathach=Skadi system is not on par with them in terms of the meta right now, so players can consider that too when rolling for her.
