With the day of Love and Appreciation fast approaching, Fate/Grand Order is holding its annual Valentine time event with the 2023 Valentine Limited Time Event - Chaldea’s Bitter Valentine’s 2023 - featuring special mechanics that let players gift valentine chocolates to all of the servants in the game in addition to featuring the god of love herself - the 5* Ruler Amor (Caren).

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event Guide

With Valentine going in full force, the annual Valentine time exclusive event for Fate/Grand Order is starting from the 13th of Feb all the way until the 26th of Feb, making it a 2 weeks event of full force farming and battling in order to obtain special rewards such as special event currencies to exchange for character upgrading materials, EXPs, special event exclusive Craft Essences and even special one of a kind chocolate gifts that players can gift to their servants to celebrate Valentine day together their favorite servants. The 2023 Valentine Event is essentially a point ladder event, meaning players will need to clear and obtain a certain amount of points from the event to get special rewards from a rewards ladder during the event.

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event - Story Nodes

During the Valentine’s 2023 Event, special event story nodes will be available for all players to partake in and obtain saint quarts for each story node cleared. In order to finish the event to the fullest, players will need to complete the story nodes for the event till the very end and obtain all the rewards from these nodes.

Each story node will be time-restricted daily until the first week of the event has passed. Once the first week has passed, all story nodes will be unlocked for easy access and players can play through all of them right away in order to clear the event and obtain a special Holy Grail for their efforts.

 

In addition, for each story node cleared, brand new farming nodes will be unlocked, allowing players to farm more event currencies and points each day. The further players are in the event, the more difficult and rewarding the farming nodes will be unlocked so players should pay attention and advance in the story as fast as possible.

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event - Farming Nodes

As mentioned, special farming nodes will be available for all players to fight during the event’s period in order to help players accumulate event currencies and event points to clear special rewards points ladder and to exchange for special rewards from the event shop of the event.

 

The higher level the farming nodes are, the more event currencies players will gain from clearing farming stages, with each farming stage dropping a specific event currency from the event ( 3 currencies in total) and the highest level farming nodes will drop special event points that will accumulate and increase your reward points ladder.

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event - Special Endless Challenge Stages

Exclusively available during this event, a special challenge stage is available daily for every player to attempt to clear, known as endless challenge battle stages. These stages will only last for 24 hours with 3 waves of 30 enemies. Players will be tasked with killing the most amount of enemies within 3 turns to obtain the most amount of event points possible.

Players should bring AOE servants that have the capability to loop their NP in order to kill the most amount of enemies within the 3 turns available for players in order to obtain the most amount of event points for the rewards ladder.

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event - Event Rewards Point Ladder

The main attraction for this event, the event rewards point ladder is a board of rewards that players will be able to accumulate event points in order to obtain the special rewards of the event from. The event points can be obtained mainly from clearing farming stages from the event and will accumulate up to 3 millions points with many rewards made available for each points thresholds players have passed.

The most important thing players can obtain from the point ladder are special chocolates that players can gift to their servants for Valentine day, which will initiate special cutscenes and dialogue unique to each servant in the game. These chocolates can be given to both male and female servants and the amount available from the point ladder is enough to feed the entire servant roster currently in the game itself. So players should absolutely focus on the point ladder to obtain these chocolates in order to spend their valentines with their most cherished servants.

Fate/Grand Order 2023 Valentine Event - Event Shop

Like other events before this, this event also features a special event shop that players can spend their hard earned event currencies on in order to exchange for special character upgrading materials and event exclusive Craft Essences in order to boost the amount of points they can obtain from the event.

Special Valentine Rate Up Banner - Should You Roll

It would be a waste of a special limited time Valentine event if the game didn’t introduce a brand new special servants for players to roll for, and this year, the special servant made available for the 2023 Valentine Event Rate UP banner is the god of love herself - Amor (Caren)

Amor (Caren)

The god of love Amor (Or Cupid) is a 5* Ruler servant specializes in dealing special damage to all enemies with her Quick based noble phantasm all the while buffing herself with a lot of beneficial buffs.

Amor (Caren) is an extremely versatile and powerful Quick farmer with the ability to buff herself with up to 50% NP battery, all 3 card types performance up and attack up, allowing her to deal massive amounts of damage to all enemies with her Noble Phantasm thanks to her buffs.

 

Amor’s Noble Phantasm further enhances her damage by inflicting all enemies with Quick card resistance down, ensuring that Amor will be able to destroy all enemies with her Noble Phantasm and regain enough NP in order to do it all again the next turns.

Should You Roll

Yes if you are in need of a Quick Farmer. Amor (Caren) is a very interesting servant with the ability to farm waves of enemies using her Quick based noble phantasm. She, being a ruler, means that her materials requirements are quite low and can be used as a budget farmer for quick teams, therefore, if players really like quick teams and want to farm using quick teams, Amor is a very good choice for that.
