Epic Seven Summer 2023 Event Guide - How To Get The Most Rewards

With the Summer season going in full swing and Epic Seven is celebrating the release of its China Server, brand new updates and gameplay contents have been added to not only improve the game’s quality of life but also to provide players with fun and interesting limited time events and campaigns to celebrate the coming of summer in form of a rerun of one of the game’s important side story, brand new system and gameplay updates and other exciting game contents coming to Epic Seven.

 

In this guide, we will go over what the recent updates to the game’s overall performance, gameplay functions, systems, gameplay contents and quality of life updates have in store for players of Epic Seven. In addition, we will also go over the limited time Summer 2023 event rerun and advise players on how they can best obtain all of the event’s rewards in order to prepare for future contents coming this summer. Epic Seven Summer 2023 Celebration - What’s In Store

World Arena Open Announcement

With the end of the Pre-season for World Arena mode, players will be able to partake in the brand new World Arena Season - the Valorous Season. With this season players will have the chance to fight against other players in real time combat and strategies in order to obtain limited time available rewards and currencies that are rewarded with each rank they achieved.

In order to advance in the rank, players will have to battle and win certain number of competitors in order to improve their score and their rankings. The higher the ranking of the player at the end of the season, the more rewards they will get and the higher the rank they will be able to obtain next season. So players should be diligent and do this mode consistently.

The special reward for this season is a special limited time available Epic Skin for the Moonlight Hero Last Rider Krau, allowing him to have a special outfit and special animations only seen through the usage of this outfit. To obtain the outfit, players will need to at least be at the Master rank by the end of the season.

Battle Speed Update

With the update patch, the battle speed for players during PvE contents will be massively improved, allowing the game to run quicker and make the players’ farming process much faster and more convenient. 

After thai update, when players are participating in PvE contents, including Side Stories, Main Stories, Hunt, Spirit Altars and Events, their battles will be sped up by 1.5 times and the characters’ animations will have their speed increased by 1.5 times also, allowing players to quickly go through the grind and farming necessary for upgrading and improving their characters.

 

This battle speed update will Not affect any PvP contents and will only take effect when players use the fast forward and auto battling functions together.

Special Summer Side Story Rerun - Its Finally Summer Break!

In conjunction with the release of the update patch and summer season for Epic Seven, a special 3 weeks side story has been released with special challenge stages, special mechanics and stages for players to play, farm and obtain event exclusive rewards from the stages.

During the event’s period, 3 different periods of the side story will be unlocked eventually, each with special stages allowing players to grind the special event currencies to exchange for fabulous rewards from the event shop, including special limited equipments, character exclusive equipments and artifacts

Players will have a special stage during each event’s period to grind the event's currencies. These stages have 4 different difficulties that players can challenge with each difficulty enhancing the enemy’s stats and are more challenging in general. The higher difficulty a stage is, the more currencies the stage will drop and the more energy players will save for farming the higher difficulty stages.

In addition, during the event’s period, special featured characters and artifacts will have special bonuses during the event’s stages. Characters will automatically be treated as if they are fully leveled and awakened and will have all of their skills at max level. When equipped with the event’s artifacts, players will be able to obtain even more event’s currencies, the higher the artifacts’ level, the higher the bonus and they are stackable.

Special Rate Up Mystic Banner - Should You Roll

Together with the Summer Update and the special side story, brand new rate up banners have been introduced for players to have the chance to obtain special rate up characters featured during the event’s period, including the 5* Knight Senya and the 5* Warrior Hwayoung. In addition, a special rate up banner is also available for the newly released Moonlight hero - Requiem Roana.

Hwayoung 

Hwayoung is a 5* Fire Elemental Warrior that specializes in focusing all of her attacks into her ultimate skill, dealing a massive blow to the enemy and helping her to pick off squishy heroes on the enemy side before they get the chance to act.

Despite being a Fire elemental warrior in the meta, Hwayoung shines in the fact that she can completely destroy other characters with true damage whenever she lands a hit, whether it is critical or not. This allows her to be one of the game’s few characters that can deal true damage to enemies' heroes.

Senya

Senya is a 5* Earth Knight that provides the team with various powerful buffs that prolonged their survivability and grants herself the counterattack buff which allows her to retaliate against enemies who dare to hit her.

Senya’s primary role in the team is to provide the entire team with beneficial buffs and be a good damage mitigation shield to help improve the entire team’s survivability. Coupled that with her ability to counterattack and she becomes one of the game’s most versatile and useful supporting tanks.

Requiem Roana

Requiem Roana is a 5* Dark Elemental Mage that specializes in going second in a combat counter after her foremost ally have acted and heavily disrupts the enemy team’s combat flow with her abilities.

Requiem Roana shines in her ability to use her 3rd skill to completely stop all heroes from the enemy’s team from using their skill for one turn by increasing their skill cooldown by 1 turn while attacking them. In addition, she is almost always guaranteed to be able to go second in a combat counter due to her 2nd skill passive which grants her 100% Combat readiness right after the foremost ally has acted, allowing her to take the turn immediately once an ally has finished their turn.

Should You Roll

For Senya and Hwayoung, players should not roll on their banners unless they really want the characters or if they are lacking the specific niche and abilities that these characters provide, as they are extremely easy to get and are not limited characters that need to be rolled for.

 

For Requiem Roana, she is one of the more unique characters in the game with her immense potential.Therefore, if players are in dire need of a hero that counters certain powerful teams in Arena and World Arena, she is definitely worth rolling for.
